Added 2021-02-25 13:41:50 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Here's my reaction to episode 8! Our next phase is here, and it looks like it's going to be a tricky one! Our crew got really unlucky by managing to get Tonpa as their last member in the majority rules group....I knew he was a troublemaker, but DANG!!! For a second, I thought he might actually have some redeeming qualities that could come in handy during the exam. Nope!!! He lives just to mess up others' exams!!!! Next up facing a convicted criminal is my little Gon, who is more than capable but I'm still worried because I feel like he might not be able to think like a savage killer....!!!! Great ep! Can't wait to see more! Enjoy! ~ MH

Oh that's really interesting!!! I had never heard about that before this show. I always turn in the direction that has somewhere I can stop and look at directions :P LOL!

Awww so happy to hear you're watching Hunter x Hunter with me now and thanks for your support, hope you enjoyed the early WandaVision too!!!! ^_^ Very true that it could have been worse, Hisoka could have been the fifth one. o.O Tonpa is not a great guy but Hisoka for sure is on a whole other level. Ohhh good point about Gon, maybe he will get to use that technique here, if he did master it?? That's true, Tonpa at least helped to provide that info lol. Thanks again!

2021-02-26 08:27:19 +0000 UTCKurapika reminds me of Armin from AoT, not only because of the blonde hair but also since he tends to be a thinker too :) (I didn't intend to watch all the hunterXhunter reactions but I raised my pledge earlier this week to get an early wandavision reaction and then I tried out hunterXhunter and I just had to go on) yeah I guessed Tonpa would be the fifth member, I feel atleast he is better to have as a 5th than Hisoka. Tonpa just seem mean while Hisoka oozes evil, I mean they might lean in the same direction but Hisoka is on another level. I'm curious now if Gon's training from the airship will come into play and/or if he will be able to have learned Killua's technique echo rhytm :) At least Tonpa is right in his reasoning it's better to see what he would do first instead worrying about it at the end, now they know how many matches they need to win.

2021-02-25 15:52:19 +0000 UTCHi Hime :) It's so annoying not being able to say more when you know the rest ^^ ' But just to say that Hunter X Hunter is one of the few action adventure shonen manga, which places ingenuity before strength. Togashi, the author of the manga, is a big fan of Jojo's bizarre adventure and as in this manga (of which I am a big fan too), more than strength is the ability to understand and analyze the situation as well as to make the best use of its capacities, which leads to victory. A and little anecdote about Togashi, he is married to another famous manga author, who has become his only assistant now, Naoko Takeuchi, the creator of Sailor Moon.
