WandaVision 1x06 "All-New Halloween Spooktacular!" - reaction & review
Added 2021-02-13 14:40:02 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Here's my reaction to ep 6. OMG!!!! Was not expecting this to be a late 90s Malcolm in the Middle style sitcom!!! They absolutely nailed it, including the Yo-Magic commercial (which was terrifying, and upon chatting about it after my reaction, I think I may have misinterpreted the meaning....I guess it was supposed to refer to Wanda's past, sorry!!). Vision has fully had it with Wanda and is deep into an investigation.....but thanks to that investigation, I guess we're growing the "cast" of WandaVision!!! Dang!!! So many questions - is this really all Wanda?! Why does her other-universe brother have the same memories as her in-universe brother?! Can't wait to see more and find out! Enjoy! ~ MH

I don't think Pietro is a version of any Pietro...He is a baddie of some kind....Agatha...I mean Agnes is full of shit. She is the only one to name Wanda. She knows something that we and Wanda doesn't know. She also seemed to be looking for her broach that she has been wearing throughout this series so far when she was acting upset whenVision woke her up. Maybe it has something to do with whoever or whatever this Pietro really is. I don't think The MCU Pietro or the Fox Pietro would say getting shot protecting 2 other people would be getting shot like a chump for no reason. I

Part of me is scared they'll go away whenever Wanda decides to end this....! That's true about the commercial, no actors this time! I'm glad you agree with my interpretation, I thought I was wrong! Really dark stuff to think that the people near the edge are in real danger (not to mention a living hell of sorts). Thank you so much, I'm so happy you enjoyed it!!!! I can't wait either!!! XD

2021-02-14 11:37:28 +0000 UTCDid anyone else see that...? Did anyone else catch Miss Hime transform into Kid Melissa as she enjoyed watching her favorite childhood sitcoms? It was great! Halloween was the perfect theme and setting to show fans a version of each of the characters’ comic book outfits, and they were fantastic! I wonder if Wiccan (Billy) and Speed (Tommy) will go through at least one more aging phase in these last few episodes and if they will somehow bring them into the MCU permanently. I feel like Agnes may have faked her “awakening” and “unawakening” by Vision - especially if the speculation that she is actually Agatha from the comics turns out to be true. However, I don’t doubt she was probably trying to get out of the Hex but couldn’t since Wanda’s control of the Hex appears to be very powerful. I find it interesting that both her and Herbert have shown some level of awareness in their direct interactions with Wanda. That commercial was interesting... not only was it the first to take a dark turn, but it was also the first one without the two actors that were in the all previous commercials. I think it was also a representation of life within the Hex and all of the residents within it. The island represents the Hex, the kid represents the residents, YoMagic is Wanda’s magic, and being that it seems as though she loses more detailed control the farther away the residents are from her (such as those closer to the edge of the Hex who are stuck in a loop or frozen altogether), they’re not able to tend to their basic necessities of life which leads to their pain and suffering, and puts their lives at risk. Another great reaction, Miss Hime! I can’t wait for the next episode!

2021-02-13 16:25:08 +0000 UTCIn the later part of the episode it looked like Pietro was fishing for information... I'm starting to think that that isn't Pietro at all. It kinda reminded me of how "The First Evil" acted when it impersonated someone in Buffy the vampire slayer.

Right, the town just got a whole lot bigger...!!! And I guess all that research is over now! Yikes indeed!!!! Can't wait to see what happens next :D

2021-02-13 15:51:29 +0000 UTCYeah, from what I've gathered, Vision and Wanda's Halloween costumes are their "original" ones from the comics. Also, new Pietro's costume is that of Quicksilver from FOX's X-Men movies which the actor himself was on back then. Since Disney now owns both Marvel and FOX, it makes sense they would attempt to merge them somehow. The "Kick-Ass" line was a nice inside reference to the actor also being in that movie. In addition, yikes! Wanda greatly expands the size of "The Hex", to save Vision, and now apparently thousands more will be caught in it, as well as all those transformed agents.
