I won't write it here just in case, but that ending.........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wanna go on the record as saying I knew it in my heart!!!!! Sooo happy but I have so many questions! Who were the other "demons" in disguise with him? How did this happen?!?! (Not that I'm complaining!!!)
Also, we got to see Emma being sweet and gentle with an elderly demon, our kids on the run and surviving (again), and even demon dads with starving kids??? Kinds introduces an interesting concept, that the demons really do need kid meat to survive perhaps??? And there's apparently some kind of caste system where middle class demons don't have access?? Interesting!!! Can't wait to see more! Enjoy! ~ MH

Ohhhh I like that theory about the demons!!! That would explain the changes too!! I think both those theories about Norman are interesting, definitely starting to think they need human males for the farms, and great point that he might be "working" with the farms while building a resistance! Hmmmm interesting theory and also incorporates the fathers, something I've been wondering about a lot! I mean, those SWAT soldiers we saw were human and male, so.....there's definitely some male humans!! That's what I thought too, Minerva was a father and couldn't stand the thought of his kids being shipped!!! I think that's an awesome theory!!! Thank you so much, so happy you enjoyed it!! Interesting that they're skipping a lot! Hahahaha that ending though right?!?!?! That's okay, pretty sure I woke the dead when watching LOL!! Ohhhh interesting that next time will be a recap ep! Maybe we'll get some more answers to that whole wall thing. I didn't realize ep 6 was delayed! Thanks for the info!

I want to say a few things about the episode but this comment will mostly be some theories I have. I love getting a view of just regular demon society outside of the ones who work for the farms or the upper-class. Although it is very disturbing to just see body parts of children as well as actual organs it looked like. Also the mention of there being groups of demons strong and desperate enough to actually attack farms is interesting. Also there is definitely a caste/class system going on that is very much favoring the upper class much like the real world if we are being honest and definitely makes things more complex. It’s so interesting seeing how the kids are surviving and that even in this bleak situation they are supporting each other and looking on the bright side as best as they can. I really love how intense scenes can get in this show especially this episode. I may not be able to completely sympathize with demons because I can’t understand them completely but I can definitely empathize with them because their children can die from starvation. I like your theory that adult demons can eat any meat child demons need human meat. I think they do need to eat meat but I don’t think they need to eat humans my really crazy theory is that over generations the upper class demons got all the demons addicted to human meat to make them have to rely on them and think they need it to survive. Also Mujika said something about demons having changed or at least implied it. My other theory/theories are all about Norman. I never had a doubt in my mind that he was alive especially because I thought they were planning to make him a scientist or use him for making more children. I think the people with him are demons and humans and that he has been slowly convincing people that this world needs to change and is forming a resistance. I think he’s pretending to work with the farms and come to their way of thinking to make this possible. My one scary theory is that and I don’t really think that in just a year someone like Norman would be brainwashed into believing the farms way of thinking but he might be completely on the side of the farms and this is simply a way to capture them but I think this is like only a 10% chance because the way these people and Norman are acting seems to go against us and I better be wrong. The story just gets more and more interesting and I very much respect the author for what he did since I’m pretty sure the story ended in the manga a while ago. Also very much like you while I truly believed Norman was alive I really thought he wouldn’t be brought back into the story so soon. This was a great reaction especially to Norman. Keep up the great work. :-) <3

2021-02-07 07:11:29 +0000 UTCI absolutely flipped out when I watched this episode. 😆 I had a feeling he was still alive! I wonder if they’ll put Norman in the empty spot next to Emma at that one part in the opening. That’d be cool. Dang, I’m just so excited he’s alive!!! With Emma, Ray, and Norman together again, they’ll be unstoppable! DEMONS BEWARE!!! My theory: Norman was given the opportunity to live and took advantage of it to escape. The farms need fathers as much as they need mothers, so while the mothers raise the children, maybe the fathers do other work around the farm headquarters. I’d have to go back and rewatch the scene, but I’m pretty sure Sister Krone said she had seen other humans at the farm HQ. Fathers perhaps? Who knows, maybe William Minerva is a father himself? Anyway, I think Norman was given the option to grow up and become a father and managed to escape with the help of Mr Minerva, but doing so led to Minerva’s actions being discovered because in the recording Emma listened to, he said he’d been found out. Norman then went on to discover a group of people outside with whom he’s been working since then. I’m probably WAY wrong, but this is just my theory. Loved ur reaction! Can’t wait for the next episode. Hopefully we get a Norman backstory 👀

2021-02-07 06:00:44 +0000 UTCAwww such a great reaction! When first watching this episode the time skip really threw me off, I has to pause it and see if I had missed an episode! A lot of manga readers aren't fond of this episode because it apparently skips quite a lot of stuff but I haven't read the manga so I wouldn't know! I really enjoyed the episode though, especially the ending which had me almost waking up my parents 😂 Also from what I've read it is a special recap episode thing next time so maybe that will fill in some gaps?!? It won't be the 6th episode though as it's been delayed so more of a 5.5.
