I'm still confused about the specifics of the room with the names/journal/"help"?! And we never brought it up again?!?!!? Also, THE SHELTER, NOOOO!!!!! Gosh, that was short lived....these poor kids can't catch a break! And we get to see beloved Mom again...ugghh...lol! I really did believe her feelings about the kids, but whatever she was promised changed her mind pretty quickly about them getting away!!! What in the world could it have been?!?! Can't wait to see more! Enjoy! ~ MH

I think you could be right that the shelter is designed by the demons for kids who find out and escape. The writer is a genius! Also Isabella made such a great villain, even though at this point she is a bit too tragic to be a pure villain, it will definitely amp things up if she's turning on the kids again. I'm glad I didn't miss something about the "help" wall issue, they might have skipped a scene like you said! Also good call about the journal, I totally missed that! That explains why they were starting to talk about going back to get the other kids too. The music is so on point! It will be cool if Sonju and Mujika join back up with our crew. Can't wait to see what happens next! Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts, and for your compliments - it means a lot!!! ^_^

Me too.....Ray was my first thought, also Norman, and I don't know why but I feel like she would do just about anything to get her friend from childhood back if that was an option. Yeah, I think you're right!! They found it super fast! Guess we'll see what happens next...!!!

Those are her kids, she's said that many times back at the farm. They finally get away & out of her reach, then she was hopeful for them. She raised them and maybe a tiny grain hopes they escape but at the end if the day she's still Isabella. You hit the nail on the head at the beginning of the video. This was 10 steps back if not 20. Grrr 😤

2021-01-31 11:35:57 +0000 UTCAlso the platinum blonde haired girl whose name I think is Anna starts a journal during the montage and rights January 2047 and unless I'm mistaken the 1st season ends in January 2046 so crazily enough it's been a year since they escaped but it's also unfortunate because there's only another year until they said they would come back to save the other kids. It's crazy because they only tell you this in the montage with a very small visual detail you are extremely likely to miss I almost did and I'm very detail oriented.

2021-01-31 05:34:47 +0000 UTCMan what a fantastic episode and while there is very little to compare it to right now I think it is definitely a standout episode in the series. After the episode my mind went into overdrive based on the episode and the opening. I have some theories one is that there is the demonic him the demons have referred to in the past and the highest level human in the farms who is tall and has white hair in the opening. Also that the shelter is a trap by the farms and things are set up so that if the children find out the truth and escape it will be in the way the farms want and if the kids get this far it will be to a shelter the farms designed and that there are multiple shelters based on what that one pursuer said. And if the going to the human world thing is a trap within a trap I will lose my mind and consider the mangaka (whose name I just looked up) Kaiu Shirai to be a genius and even if I’m wrong if it’s something even crazier that a lot of people wouldn’t guess I will still think that. Also thanks for having a theory about what the demons promised Isabella because I had no ideas however I don’t think it’s that because it has to be something really difficult to guess. Also about not talking about the help thing I think something may have been skipped from the manga or maybe the stuff written in the Journal explained it and they skipped a scene for pacing reasons. I really love that despite how dark this show is that we still get very heartwarming and humorous stuff like with the montage and fish bugs. Now I really want to talk about Isabella if the author managed to still make her a compelling antagonist even turning on the kids again she will be 1 of my favorite antagonists because she may do bad things but she isn’t really a villain per se especially because I straight up thought she was dead. Also they should not be underestimated these kids even though they did almost get caught it was only because they were good enough to get close to the forest that the lucky opportunity for the wild demon which is what it was why it was attacking what amounts to that SWAT team which is the closest thing I can compare those humans to. Also it is the best manipulation to offer the person who wanted to survive for so long her freedom and whatever else that demon said. Now onto music I love how much it fits depending on the scene. For example I love how when they 1st start hiding the music is very much like a horror movie when they actually start escaping it becomes action music and finally the really creepy and awesome chanting type music that starts playing when Isabella accepts the demons offer works really well. The start of which was playing at the end of the 1st episode when they realized they were demons trying to help them. I have no idea where the story is going next except I very much think they are going to meet back up with Mujika and Sonju next episode and those 2 might join the group. Great reaction and I can’t wait to see the next episode and your reaction to it. Keep up the great work. :-) <3

Was it that she gets to keep Ray or one of the other kids? (maybe even Norman?) I honestly have no idea. I think that the demons and the humans working for them must have found the shelter before, that's what all the writing on the walls is potentially. That could answer how they found the shelter so fast, because they already knew about it.
