Ah that's so interesting about the colors, thanks for pointing it out! Ah yes the joke wasn't so bad, I just felt bad for Jaune haha. Poor Weiss, definitely does not seem like a happy family! And the scene with Jaune watching the video was soooo sad!!! But also a little uplifting, because his way of mourning/grieving is to carry on and do something that would make her proud. I like how the theme is about that too - that all we can do is just live, move on, etc.!!! Thank you so much!! It's so tempting to binge watch this show, I enjoy it so much haha!!! Hopefully this will be a shorter comment since a lot of people have pointed out the small details. I love the premier so much and I think it was an amazing idea to start us with the villains. There being more villains makes sense but is still surprising. The conversations are so interesting being able to see the dynamics between the villains. Also showing us how much control Salem has over them and the respect they have for her. I’m so happy you seem to love Syrian he’s 1 of my favorite villains besides Salem he’s so unsettling but also charismatic in like you said a very Joker way also his name is also a shade of purple. I can’t say anything about the farm boy yet but I love him as a character. About the name thing Ranger is actually a shade of green. The 1st fight scene is a great way to reintroduce us to the characters we love and the comedy that is still there in addition to serious stuff. Also about the one joke you had a problem with I think it’s fine I just think they went to hard and should have just toned it down. The emotional moments in both of these episodes are amazing. I love the opening and I’m not going to say much right now but you should pay attention to where the colored orbs at the beginning of it go on the map. Episode 2 the Weiss’s father sucks episode. I love getting even more insight into Weiss as a character. The mansion is beautiful but it’s so stark, empty and lonely which is such a great representation of Weiss as a character. I’m so happy well maybe not happy because it’s sad but you noticing how everyone in the family picture is sad except for the father and brother. Also Whitley said their mother was already drinking in the garden after Weiss implies her parents fight. I will let you form your own conclusions about what that means. I love seeing Ironwood and you can definitely tell he’s stressed and it makes sense. Also I’m pretty sure very few people like this ship but some people ship him and Weiss but honestly I think it’s mostly people being thirsty and want to imagine themselves with James. The songs gave you an idea of how manipulative and abusive her father is but actually seeing it happen is so much worse. This character is someone you are supposed to hate and should because of how he treats his daughter like an object instead of a person. Seeing what team Ranger goes through is great because we can see what is happening in the world after last volume and how tragedies are just happening. It continues to remind them of their failures and what the characters are feeling right now. That final scene is amazing but so damn heartbreaking but there is some light to it. Jaune having mementos of Pyrrha like the gold and the red sash is sad but heartwarming because she will always be with him. Him training and just watching the video over and over especially because I think she was trying to say she loved him although we’ll never truly know. And although he is somewhat torturing himself and going through grief he’s doing his best to push himself and move forward because that is probably what she would’ve wanted. If you eventually watch it it reminds me of a more negative version of this that happens in another RT show red vs blue which I think you’ll see if you ever watch that show can’t say anything more. I loved the reaction and I can’t wait for more. I wish you could do more every week only because you are loving it so much. Keep up the great work. :-) <3

yes your journey through Vol. 4 has begun. Where to begin, Tyrian is my favorite of the new villains also Jaune has a red sash around his waist just like Pyrrha. Klein does have multiple personalities you could say he has 7 little ones, also love how their sleeping bags are color coordinated. One last thing with you bringing up DB/DBZ the VA for Watts is the same person who does Vegeta voice.

I forgot about Launch, I haven't watched Dragon ball in forever! Lol great comparison. Tyrian did remind me of Orochimaru from Naruto aswell and Bellatrix LeStrange from Harry Potter. Very creepy and deranged. 😬 🛡 🗡❤

Good evening and a big hug from France, we all need it after the end of episode 2. Concerning the hoodie with a rabbit, it's the same as Jaune from the beginning and when you review the episodes of the three previous volumes, you can see him under his armor, little detail but so cool. For Cinder's condition, I have two theory. One that you can understand now, the second would be a spoiler so I'll talk about it again when we get there if I remember by then (volume 6, it's not for now). The first theory is about the spider grimm, which Cinder used to steal the powers of the Fall Maiden. The grimm disintegrated with the glove and a mark appeared on Cinder's back, so I guess that grimm fused with her, making her sensitive to Ruby's silver eyes. Finally, if you don't like Weiss' father, learn to hate him even more in the future. Besides, his name is Jacques, a reference to Jack Frost. And in the camp of the bad guy, Watts, the smuggy mustache as I like to call it, that first name Arthur and is a cerebral (Doctor Arthur Watts). It is based on Arthur Conan Doyle and one of those characters, Doctor Watson. It is perhaps the one that I prefer in the enemy camp, I like his confident and mocking side (and the smug smile). Edit : Oh and i forgot, when Salem comes on stage in episode 1, you can hear a music in the background accompanying her, it's a speechless and softer version of Divide that we hear at the end of volume 3 and which like you you can see it in your OST video, is a song from Salem's point of view. Edit 2 : Ah and I forgot too, the heartbreaking moment you're talking about is in Mob Psycho 100 season 2 isn't it? I finished your reaction this week so it's fresh. Edit 3 : Decidedly, another thing that comes back to me, Ruby who hears Pyrrha's voice, is to show that despite the strength she lets show through, she still suffers from trauma to see Pyrrha die before her eyes... And for a little more lightness, remember the map joke in episode 1, this is not the only time that they will have map problems ^^.

When Ironwood is referring to the council, he talking about the Atlas Council. He has a seat as the head of Atlas Academy and another as head of the military. Also, Klein's full name is Klein Sieben, which translates from German as "small seven" because he's based on the seven dwarves from Snow White (the different personalities).

- Ren with his hair down made the whole FNDM rensexual back in the day. Also Nora's heart on her shirt is now slashed, symbolizing that something is broken now that Pyrrha is gone. Just like Ruby incorporates aspects of Pyrrha and Penny in her new outfit, and also some white, maybe because of Summer or even Weiss, you can see how much she misses her when Nora mentioned the Schnee Dust Company. Whereas Weiss' outfit doesn't have any red in it this time, because she's once again a prisoner of her family. And well, yeah, Jaune's new armor and shield were made out of Pyrrha's tiara, her broken weapon and her shield, the only things that remained of her. He’s also wearing a red sash by his waist just like her. - The Grimm possessing the boulders was a Geist, the same type of Grimm that was possessing the knight armor that Weiss fought in her trailer. That was actually a test that her father put her through in order for her to be able to attend Beacon. You only learn about this in the official manga. - About the new opening, the last lyrics "Move Onward, Not There Yet" spell out MONTY. -Glynda did say that the Maidens have to be women, and they can only become Maidens when they're fairly young. - Remembrance is still one of my favorite episodes. It does such a good job at reminding us that things are different, showing us what they’re still going through with Ruby’s nightmares and Jaune’s grief while he tortures himself with Pyrrha’s video, as well as the new darker tone of the real world after the fall and outside the kingdoms, when they literally see a Huntsman die in front of them without being able to do anything about it.

Klein Sieben, from German to English, is small seven, which references the Seven Dwarves. That explains his personality shifts.

We have new baddies, the fandom called them team WTCH (Watts, Tyrian, Cinder, Hazel). Tyrian is up there in my top five villains here in RWBY but to be honest I always liked the crazy kind of villain. I like Watts (the one with the mustache) a lot too but he doesn't get to shine until later. Hazel... I'm conflicted about him for reasons I can't tell you because it would be a spoiler. When Ironwood said that he holds two seats he meant the kingdom of Atlas council one for his post as headmaster of Atlas academy and one for his rank of general. Yeah, Jacques is a very punchable character. Klein on the other hand is the best. Here's a clue about who's he is based in... Klein has seven personalities and he's rather short 😉
