The Boys 2x06 "The Bloody Doors Off" Reaction & Review
Added 2020-10-12 11:30:40 +0000 UTCHere it is, episode 6 of season 2 of The Boys! Oh it just keeps getting better and better in this one....! We finally find out what's going on at Sage Grove - Compound V experiments!
And I love how they gave us more of an origin story for Frenchie! Also, we got much more background on the incident that happened with Mallory's grandchildren and got to meet Lamplighter! It took me a second to remember all that, but wow, way to bring things full circle. Poor Hughie doesn't fair well during the mission, which leads to some unexpected bonding between Butcher and Annie. Also, are Kimiko and Frenchie friends again?! A-Train appears to be on the same path as the Deep, I'm worried for Maeve and her somewhat flimsy plan to bring down Homelander, and.....let's not forget that reveal at the end!!! So Stormfront is not only a blatant racist, she is a straight up NAZI!!! And the fact that that is not a dealbreaker for Homelander just makes me all the more disgusted with them both.
Ugh! Guess we'll see what happens here! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

The initial scene was funny enough thanks to Mother's Milk's line, but the "choking" scene just got really intense and weird as soon as I realized what it was lol!!! >.< I have been dying to check out the Golden Girls!!!!! I'm surprised I haven't seen it, I've seen so many other classic 80s sitcoms and loved them. I'm 100% down to react to Golden Girls if anyone wants to see that! :P
