RWBY 2x11 "No Brakes" & 2x12 "Breach" reaction & review
Added 2020-10-06 11:06:42 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Here's my reaction/review of episodes 11 and 12 of V2 of RWBY! Well, strap in for an action-packed fight scene atop a train that's full of bombs and on its way to bring Grimm into populated areas!!!!! The fight scenes looked great, and that ending of waking up with all the Grimm loose in the city...!!! Fortunately Jaune's intuition helped team JNPR to spring into action to help, and from there we go into an even more epic fight scene with Velvet's team, who I later learned is called CFVY, featuring one of the best songs EVER!
Torchwick gets arrested and things are safe at the moment, but trouble is definitely still brewing. ALSO WHO IS THAT WOMAN IN THE MASK, WHO WE SEE AGAIN AT THE END?!
She has Ruby's look but with Yang's features....so I'm guessing it's Yang's mom?! Can't wait to find out! The soundtrack reaction is next, woohoo!! Enjoy! ~ MH

Okay, so I’ve seen the reaction. Um... do you not remember Red Like Roses part 2 and the Red Trailer? Summer Rose, Ruby’s mom, is dead. Also, the credits show the name of the woman to be Raven Branwen. Don’t worry though, you will get to see Yang and Raven talk it out in a later volume. Indeed, there is a new intro every volume and a post credits scene every last episode of each volume. Time To Say Goodbye (the intro to this volume) is definitely a good song but I personally like some intro songs more, such as volume 1’s This Will Be The Day and volume 6’s Rising. Speaking of songs, Velvet’s team is spelt CVFY and pronounced Coffee. It’s very fitting when their song is called Caffeine. Did you know that Fox, the member with the blades on his arms, is blind? That’s interesting. Don’t worry, as you already know, you obviously see them again. They’re part of how Ruby catches onto the villains as they put their plan into action. The illusions, no? Yes, that was indeed Casey singing the song in the end credits. I believe the only songs in which there is another female singer are Red Like Roses part 2 (volume 1), Nevermore (volume 6) and War (volume 7). Her voice is amazing.

He's truly Best Boy! The Neo/Yang fight was great, Neo really knows how to handle herself! I'm glad I caught on to the dream thing quickly! I can definitely see how you wouldn't know that right away though! That's such a good point about Roman, I totally blanked on the fact that it was Emerald and Mercury who turned him over! Thanks again!

2020-10-06 17:56:35 +0000 UTCAs an explanation of what people mean when they tell you the after credits scene "isn't canon," it was intended to be followed up on in Volume 3, but then Monty changed his mind about some plot points that he wanted to happen in a later volume. So it is best to think of the end credits scene as a dream.

I believe it was also the last animation by Monty Oum (RWBY creator) for RWBY before he passed away sadly :( there is a sweet tribute to him in the opening of volume 3 chapter 1 so definitely be aware of that. I’m not sure if someone told you about this yet so sorry if it’s a repeat comment !

Zwei, he's the dog of family of huntsmen and huntresses and it shows here on how he helps with the combat, he even headbutted a Beowulf. I'm pretty sure he even has his Aura unlocked. Neo, she's one of the best hand to hand fighters in the show and she flaunts it here against Yang. Also, when they square off before the fight the height difference makes even more evident how tiny she is. You caught on pretty quickly that the after credits scene was a dream, I was confused about it for years until someone commented on another reaction that it was indeed a dream. Roman is clearly up to something, first the ones who handed him over to Atlas were Emerald and Mercury and second, he was too comfortable when Ironwood was interrogating him. Yes, that was Adam in the roof talking with Cinder and company. And that's it for now, again sorry for the wall of text.

2020-10-06 14:40:17 +0000 UTCYes Volume 3 is next baby ... lots of great fights in this last episodes, Neo vs Yang is fan favourite of this fandom, this fight perfectly shows that despite having the advantage in power Yang was unable the land a single blow on Neo, who was simply tiring her out and easily beat her with pure skill ... it's also important to note that Yangs Semblance may be strong, but is pretty useless if you can't hit anybody ... Team CVFY is really cool and if your interessted in them I recommend you to read the official light novel; After the Fall and Before the dawn, however this takes place after Volume 6 so might gonna wait
