I feel like things are starting to heat up with our bad guy plot, especially since they're going as far as to scope out people's abilities now....on the other hand, WE'RE HAVING A DANCE!!!! <3 Also, can we talk about how much I love and ADORE Yang?! I loved the scene between her and Blake! And that gave us lots more info about hers and Ruby's moms!! I wonder if we'll ever see Yang's mom?? Great eps, I am so enjoying this show!! Can't wait to see more!

Oh yeah! Parts of it sounded parental, but I also got really worried about team members dying during some of the songs lol. I didn't realize Summer was the leader! Like mother like daughter, indeed!

While it is true that Red Like Roses is a conversation between Ruby Rose and Summer Rose, I distinctly remember that you thought it was about Ruby mourning Weiss. Note also that with Yang, her mother is NOT dead so that counts her out, that and she’s also YELLOW (or Gold according to her volume 1 song) and not red. Family info? That’s great! Yes, the uncle is indeed Qrow. If you paid enough attention, you’d realize that Qrow, Summer, the dad, and Yang’s mom were all on the same team together. I know this is volume 2, but since you’re already at volume 3, I’ll mention this too: Summer was the leader. When Ruby says “like mother like daughter”, I broke when that info came out. Like mother like daughter indeed. Summer would’ve been proud of her.

I've actually slowed the footage down to get a better look at each of her moves, and she even feints attacks a few times throughout the fight. From the way she took out Cardin, I get the feeling that she's getting a little revenge for how he treated Jaune earlier in the year. It definitely felt a little personal. XD. I do really like how this episode showcases Blake's and Yang's relationship as partners after all the Weiss and Ruby focus in Volume One.

2020-09-25 15:22:07 +0000 UTCFirst off I cannot believe you never noticed Lie Ren's ponytail, it's prob the first thing I noticed about him. 🐎 Second, I dig everybody's unique distinguishing styles; I'm glad to see more of Pyrrha and her fighting style. She's just amazing from what I've seen so far. She's strong, smart, beautiful, level headed and mature. She's a embodiment of a true Amazonian women. I just want to appreciate that training session, it was amazing. Too amazing to not preach about 🙏 Lastly, Yang 😤😭 ugh she's awesome, just awesome. I knew there was more to her than the party girl, lay back, chill, go with the flow girl that we know and love but her sense of maturity and passion really showed here. And I'm glad she was the one to do it. It was kinda like a Yin and Yang moment. I didn't know I needed that scene. It was so touching and honest. I cannot wait for next Tuesday! This show has me going crazy too. I'm trying to follow week by week with the reactions so i dont go crazy overboard but its so hard to resist. Hopefully the dance goes well 😬
