RWBY 2x03 "A Minor Hiccup" & 2x04 "Painting The Town..." reaction & review
Added 2020-09-22 11:05:29 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Here's my reaction/review of episodes 3 and 4 of V2 of RWBY! Oh my gosh, so much happening in this - the return of Penny and a big reveal about her that I had kinda already guessed haha!!! Also, so fun that they brought Junior and the club from the Yellow trailer back! Really curious about these new robots, I have a feeling the character introducing them has something to do with Penny (is his name Ironwood? I can't remember). Also, really well done and sad scene with Weiss making the call! We got more info on what Torchwick's been up to, and we get another beautifully done fight scene.
The new character at the end has a really awesome power!!! I couldn't tell if her name was Niao or Meow hahha....aaaand Wiki confirms that it's neither, but actually Neo. Oh well!

2020-09-23 11:42:38 +0000 UTCSun can seem like an idiot and is played for laughs a lot, but there is often a lot of simple wisdom in what he says. Case in point: "That's stupid! You should always get friends involved!" In a way, that's the same thing Weiss has been trying to tell Blake about not keeping her problems to herself - your friends, your real friends, are there to get involved in your problems whenever you need them to.

Also good job noticing Weiss practicing her smile in the elevator not everybody notices that the first time around.

Also, I love how she came to be on the show. someone sent a fanart of a genderbent Roman and the team working on the show liked the design so much that they created her character. Penny is such a cinnamon roll. Between the line "I'm not a real girl" and her hiccups when she lies the inspiration for her character should be clear by now π
