Parasyte - the maxim - 1x03 "Symposium" reaction & review
Added 2020-09-08 11:36:49 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Here's my reaction and review of episode 3 of Parasyte! Oh boy, the plot thickens in this one! We get a new parasite who seems to be a bit higher functioning than some of the ones we've seen. Aaaaand we get a horrible revelation that whatever was going on in that last scene of episode 2.....worked!!! She has managed to get pregnant, but let's deal with that later, since we have enough to get through in this ep once the proud papa decides he wants to take Shinichi out. I will say, Migi and the teacher seem to give a lot more thought/focus to what they are, why they're there, etc. And then Mr. A is just like, "nah, I eat, that's what I do, and I'm good with it". You've gotta respect how comfortable he is with where he's at, I suppose! What's gonna happen now?! Can't wait to see! Enjoy! ~ MH

Migi said the same thing about the doggy parasyte, that it's a result of their maturation environments that Migi won because he did not neglect his studies and learning, while the dog lacked tactics and proper strategy, the second parasyte called humans hypocrites eating cows and pigs and admonished Migi in his studies and claimed he could relocate to the arm, and now we see that A lacks any forethought and is careless and reckless, while Tamiya is much more intelligent and wants to blend in to survive. Tamiya thus warns and threatens Shinichi to keep the peace because she thinks humans are illogical in their actions due to their emotions. So what we are seeing is that all the parasytes have their own unique personalities, some more curious than others, much like humans.
