RWBY 1x15 "The Stray" reaction & review

Apologies that it took quite a while for me to get to this. School is keeping me up. So we get more on Weiss this episode. The creators really do just sprinkle stuff throughout the show. She said it's her grandfather's company and her father is currently in charge and was furious whenever business and the faunus was involved. They expand on this in the future, especially volume 4. In fact, you find that in the soundtracks, Weiss has a clear trajectory in terms of her character arc, and it's a literal story that you can get out of her songs alone. With the faunus, while they aren't treated AS bad as millenium ago, after the Great War, how they are treated still varies depending on the kingdom. Blake's journey is interesting in that she tries to find a way out of the cycle of hatred, despair, loss, and violence. Looking forward to the RWBY videos next week. I'm going to eat lunch now. Also now that you are very close to the end of volume 1 I want to tell you when to watch the World of Remnant videos in volume 2. In my opinion there are 2 ways to go about this watch the 1st after episode 3, the 2nd after episode 6, the 3rd after episode 9 and the 4th after episode 12. The 2nd way if because they are so short you would rather watch them all in one reaction is to watch all 4 of them after episode 12. I also have no problem with other people giving you advice about this if they disagree with my opinion.

This is a great episode as well and I love that even if maybe it's not done in the most in-depth way it deals with heavy real-life issues like you said. Discrimination is a hard thing to talk about but should be especially with certain things going on with the real world lately. Also I'm glad that it's balanced out by some really great humor especially because of Penny who I have to say is my favorite character followed very closely by Yang and it seems like it might turn out that way for you as well. I love getting more in depth about character backstories which the show does in absolutely amazing ways and I can't wait to see you experience that as you go through the show. Also so glad you remembered the black trailer in your discussion. Awesome reaction as always and I can't wait to see your reaction to episode 16. Keep up the great work. :-) <3

I absolutely adore Penny, she's my favorite character. A big clue about the situation here is in Blake's trailer, it's a detail easy to miss but the boxes in the train are marked with the Schnee symbol. There are some videos explaining the lore of RWBY a bit more, they are called World of Remnant and talk about the world, dust, Faunus, and more. The thing is it's been a long time since I watched them and some might have spoilers for things that are yet to come... I remember that they started including them on volume 2 but not exactly after which chapter came which world of Remnant video. The one thing I'm sure is that after volume 3 they are safe to watch. Glad you mentioned Blake's trailer. That's the stolen train full of Dust that Weiss mentioned. You can see Weiss's symbol (the Schnee emblem) on the crates on the train.
