Star Wars: The Clone Wars 1x07 "Duel of the Droids" reaction & review

Hey everyone!  Here's my reaction and review of Clone Wars 1x07!  Oh wow, I was starting to suspect about R3 possibly being a spy for the other side, but I can't believe I was right!
I really thought maybe he just sucked at his job lol!  Well well well.....Anakin is really gonna get to serve up a big old helping of "I Told You So" now!  :P  I was afraid I'd have to see poor R2 getting torn apart/tortured for info, was not pleased I actually did end up having to see that!  But at least he's back safe and sound!  That was a fun arc that got me oddly invested even though I knew the overall outcome!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Thank you so much!!! I'm so happy to hear that! Thank you for hopping aboard the second tier! XD Wow, I can't wait to see some of the places where the show is going then. There are a few things I know here and there but I have no idea where/when they happen, just things I've heard from existing while the show was airing, unfortunately lol! Thank you so much and hope you love my reactions!

That makes sense! They definitely don't have as many resources to learn and grow that way. Sad!

That's a good point! Yeah Ahsoka did really well holding her own for sure! Hmm, interesting concept that some droids have "personalities" and some don't....it seems like it could turn into quite the moral debate! I remember Knights of the Old Republic!!! That droid sounds very sassy lol!!!

Such a blast to see you’re reacting to this series! It’s a favorite of mine and for me was enough to bump up to the second tier. The show only gets better over time, going from a campy, even somewhat kiddy cartoon show to some of the best Star Wars media out there. At its peak, I can honestly say Clone Wars ranks above the movies for me personally. It’s that good. It’s been out for a while, so I hope you can avoid spoilers when possible! Otherwise, looking forward to your thoughts. Thanks!

That is the sad thing about so many of these droids, they are programmed and used. They get personality from the people they hang around. The separatist droids mostly just hang around each other, it's no wonder they never really learn much.

I always wondered if they never cleared the data from CP 3O , if he would also be that usefull as R2. We will get more information on Greivous as the series goes on. Considering that Ashoka is still a fresh Padawan, she did hold herself fairly good against Greivous, who who is know for stuff. And the Jedi that found Ashoka is Jedi Master Plo Koon. Droids in Star Wars where always a strange topic, because on one side you have droids like the Medical Droid from the one episode who did not have a "personality" the you have the B1 Battle Droids, who seem to have a "personality". But thoes are not true things, droids can have different chips and modules. A Personality core, or chip might be usefull for droids who interact with felshy beings. So a unit like C3 PO would have something like that, but a astromech? douptfull, but we see that R2 does have a personality. So does an AI gain a personality after years of learning and interacting with other living beings? As we see there is a mixed opinion on that. Anaking thinks of R2 as a friend, but Obi Wan just as a Droid. Also not the Jedi Code says to not have attachmends to things...but well...we see about that Obi Wan. My favorite Droid is HK-47, he is originaly from the Star Wars game "The Knights of the old Republic". And boy does he have an attitude. Calls all humanoid beigns, meatbags. He is an assassin droid.
