RWBY 1x09 "The Badge and The Burden" and 1x10 "The Badge and The Burden, Part 2" reaction & review
Added 2020-08-27 11:47:02 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Here's my reaction/review of episodes 9 and 10 of RWBY! Oh my gosh, the decorating montage of episode 9 filled my heart with joy! Their school uniforms are just beyond cute, and I was happy to get to see their classroom setting a bit more! In ep 10, we get a great back-to-back introspection from Ruby and Weiss about their places in the team.
I love that Ruby was questioning her ability to be a leader while Weiss was questioning why she wasn't chosen as one, and their respective mentors had to guide them in the right direction. In the end, I was really proud of Weiss for genuinely trying to get along with Ruby and claim that she's going to be the best teammate possible! Really loving this series so far and looking forward to seeing more! Enjoy! ~ MH

I hear you, and that's a great point about the bunk beds comment! Now that I'm a bit ahead of this point and have listened to the soundtrack, I can totally see how Weiss is anything but pampered despite being wealthy. I knew from the very start of the series that she was going to have a lot of depth! You're so welcome and thank you! Good luck with school! :D

At the end there where she says “I’ve always wanted bunk beds as a kid”, it could be implied as herself wanting a traditional sleepover and everything that comes with it, including friends. Implied that way, it really fits with her song Mirror Mirror. You’ll get it if you’ve already watched the soundtrack. Thanks for the reaction! Now back to school for me...

Also that final between Weiss and Ruby is really cute and heartwarming and I do ship them. Great reaction and keep up the great work. :-) <3

Weiss, is German for White, and Schnee, is Snow. So her name is Snow White, and has ice powers. The fable of Snow White is called Schneeweisschen, or Schneewittchen
