Star Wars: The Clone Wars 1x03 "Shadow of Malevolence" reaction & review

Hey everyone!  Here's my reaction and review of Clone Wars 1x03!  It was really interesting to see both Anakin and Grievous being really stubborn and set in their ways about how to handle the battle, but fortunately, Anakin listened to the people around him in the end!
Sad that we lost some clone guys along the way, but the mission was an overall success, demonstrating that sometimes you have to be flexible in your plans and strategies!  Also, can we all agree that Grievous is creepy?!  Can't wait to see more!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

I can see that! Very true that they have the opportunity to explore him more here than in the movies. That's a great idea, I might just do that before Season 7!! Thanks!

I personally feel like this version of Anakin, is a much deeper character, if only because the have much more time to develop nuance. We get to see him in so many situations that the movies can't explore. However, it might be interesting for you to watch Revenge of the Sith, again before you start Season 7, of The Clone Wars. A positive way to look at it is that the animation just enhances the characters when you watch the movies again:)

They really are! And yes, it does kinda make you feel bad for them when they inevitably get destroyed because they are so much fun and kinda likable haha. Very true, there's always been some goofiness/campiness in Star Wars, some episodes more than others lol, but heaven knows there's plenty of great, heavy stuff to balance that out too! I get people saying the battle droids are silly and are, but I personally love their silliness!!! :D

Right!!! I remember his name from the movies, I just don't remember anything about what actually happened to him in it lol. So I'll be in constant suspense!

Those basic droid troops are always good for a laugh. It is kind of weird how much it humanizes them though, I always feel a bit bad for them. Some people criticize that because it is too silly. I mean Star Wars has always been made with kids in mind so it only makes sense to have that comedic relief.

If you dont know if General Greivous is in the films, that makes it more exiting for you. Because you never know what will happen to him. No everytime is the direct path the right one.
