Vinland Saga 1x04 "A True Warrior" reaction & review
Added 2020-08-24 11:48:10 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Here's my reaction to episode 4 of Vinland Saga! Well, I knew this one was coming! For a while though, I was starting to think maybe Thors would come out on top - he so masterfully strategized his battle, and yet remained so peaceful as to not kill his opponent and ask for surrender instead. But as soon as that guy took Thorfinn hostage, I knew it was over! And that rage in Thorfinn's eyes at the end.....his childhood is officially over! Poor boy! A sad but really fitting ending for Thors, and now we look ahead to the time jump I suppose? Can't wait! Enjoy! ~ MH

Yeah, he has a good style! And I know, poor Thors! I guess that is the law of the land on this show, but still such a shame, I loved Thors!!

Doesn’t make it right, but he did abide by the other terms of the duel, and left all the other boys on board alone. Even Ari was left alive and wasn’t captured, despite trying to attack Askeladd. He’s definitely a scoundrel and bad person, but he does have a kind of honor system when someone earn his respect.

Oh gawd, thanks for the heads up lol!!! Hahahaha war paint, I love it!!!! I'm okay with the Alice Cooper look if things start to really go wrong on this series! :P It truly is crazy to think of all the mental gymnastics involved in trying to avoid the inevitable here lol. I'm so sad for Thorfinn!!! His whole life completely changed in an instant...!!!!

All I will say is that you should have a good waterproof mascara ready for the rest of the show. Or not, you could always just say it's war paint if it runs! It is amazing the mental gymnastics we can go through to avoid the sad truth of what's coming lol. Poor Thorfinn
