Added 2020-08-21 11:58:20 +0000 UTCHey everyone!! Here's my reaction and review to episode 9! I knew just from the title this one was gonna be interesting! Seeing Filo get a friend and have cute, pure adventures together was EVERYTHING!!! Also, who else wants to take a nap in Filo's feathers now?!
I DO!!!! Another great Filo moment in this ep was watching her get mad at Mr. Wonderful for calling her fat and then kicking him again....and getting headpats from Naofumi afterwards!!!
XD Of course, the whole ep led up to some major info at the end....what happens now?!
Can anyone blame Naofumi for being distrustful?? On the other hand, how could this girl we've been getting to know the whole ep be bad?! (I said the same thing about Myne though!) Can't wait to see what happens next! Enjoy! ~ MH

That show sounds interesting! I'm really enjoying the series for sure, and don't feel like there's a lot I'm missing, but I think it would be fun to check that out to fill in anything they left out of the show! Maybe after I'm done with the season?? Thanks!

2020-08-22 07:48:12 +0000 UTCI think that it's reasonable to consider Filo, to be an innocent baby. I mean we all saw her hatch from an egg, & she was small enough to fit on Naofumi's head. Even if we assume from her rapid growth that she matures faster mentally than human children; her whole life has been Naofumi & Raphtalia:)

He already has walls up with strangers so it wouldn't be any better with someone connected to the people that caused the most suffering for him and is still hostile towards him. Are you interested in what the anime left out from the manga and light novel? If you don't have the time to read it, there is a series on YouTube called Rising of the Shield Hero Cut Content by AniNews that goes through it all. I watched them after the season was over, but it would have really helped me appreciate and understand the story more if I could have watched it right after the episodes. Just a suggestion though since it seems like you're already enjoying the series.

2020-08-21 13:09:51 +0000 UTCTold you Motoyasu was going to get more creepy than before, I mean Filo looks like a child and is even younger than she looks (can't be more than a month since she hatched, I think). Luckily Filo can defend herself. About the names, Myne's real name is Malty and Filo's new friend is Melty... Looks like Melromarc's royal family isn't very creative when naming children.
