Rising of the Shield Hero 1x08 "Curse Shield" reaction & review
Added 2020-08-14 11:37:41 +0000 UTCHey everyone!! Here's my reaction and review to episode 8! Oh man, I know they're not gonna start pulling this on me, trying to kill my favorite characters!!!! Once again, our crew is cleaning up after a hero, trying to help a village. But this time (due to her inexplicable hate for dragons) Filo gets just a bit too close and........GETS EATEN?! Even the show knew better than to not keep me going with that for more than a few minutes - I will NOT have my sweet girl dying!! But it was enough time for Naofumi to tap into something VERY different and VERY dangerous.....just what is the Curse Shield?! Also, I loved how by the end of this episode, he was so honest with himself about loving/protecting his girls!!! Can't wait to see where it's all going! Enjoy! ~ MH

2020-08-14 13:14:21 +0000 UTCI don't know if you remember but in the episode in the duel, when he thought he had lost everything and fallen into despair, the shield said "curse series unlocked" and now we have a curse rage shield or whatever it's called. Also it wasn't the dragon that hurt Rapthalia, it was the shield, just another reason to hate that shield and Naofumi probably feels awful about it.
