RWBY Trailers (Red, White, Black, Yellow) - reaction & review

I enjoyed these trailers a lot, they got me really excited and curious to watch the series to learn more! I like how each one had a slightly different style, while keeping in a sort of fantasy realm, and having the rose petals/leaves as a way to sort of tie them all together. Each girl has a really cool, unique style and I wanna learn more about them! So far, my fave is the blonde!! Let's see if that changes as I watch! So excited to go on this journey with you all! Thank you so much!!!!!! I'm so happy to hear that!!!! Thanks for recommending I watch these first, too! I can definitely see how talented Monty was in his animation style; so sad that he passed away. Hmm, I'm gonna have to think about it when it comes to Blake and Yang! I already guessed Ruby and Weiss! Jeff and Casey are amazing, it blew my mind that Casey was only 14 when she recorded some of these songs as well! Thank you so much for the info on the songs! I really want to listen to the songs in more depth, and maybe even react to them, do you have any suggestions on when would be a good time to do that? It would probably make sense to get to know some of the characters a bit more first, but I'm not sure! Thank you so much for sharing all this info, it's very interesting and I'm glad you're excited for the show!!!! 2020-08-15 14:13:19 +0000 UTC1st off I want to say I loved the reactions. I really appreciate that you listen to your patrons so well because I was the one who recommended watching these 1st. Also since this is 1 of my favorite shows ever I would like to be a guide for you without spoiling. Others have already told you about this but 1 of the reasons that fight animation is so much better than other things in this show at this point is Monty Oum who unfortunately passed away being a animation prodigy. Don't get me wrong he worked hard to get as skilled as he was but he was very gifted. Also the animation is still great nowadays but there was just something special about Monty and his animation style. Others have said this already but almost all the characters are based on fairytales/fiction in general and I can't wait to see your guesses about this., However if you still haven't figured out some of them feel free to ask what characters are based on and I will tell you if it's not a spoiler I will be careful I promise. Although some of them are obscure so be aware of that. Finally I can't not talk about the music which is 1 of my favorite parts of the show because of how important they are. Jeff and Casey are just super talented and I am always in awe of them. Jeff sings in the songs and writes 99% of the songs with input from the writers. Also both of them constantly improve as the show goes on. The instrumentals are also great and are done by Alex Abrams. Also others have told you that the songs often are related to the show and characters but are not completely Canon mostly just general themes of the world/characters but some are more intertwined with the show then others. I also want to give my support to soundtrack reactions however in my opinion using lyric videos from specifically the YouTube channel FlyntofRWBY for all the songs in volume 3, 4, 5 and 6 and some songs from volume 1, 2 and 7. I could give you specific links but it might help if you have a friend look the stuff up to avoid spoilers. For any songs he doesn't have you can use videos from the YouTube channel HuntSD for volume 1 and 2 songs and the YouTube channel SirsandMadamsEntertainment for volume 7 songs. Sorry about the long comment I'm just really passionate about this show. Feel free to ask any questions about the show if you ever feel lost. Each main character has a series of songs (each begins with the song in each trailer) that tell you more about the characters in the lyrics. The songs in the trailers were "Red like roses" for the red trailer "Mirror mirror" for the white trailer "From shadows" for the black trailer and "I burn" for the yellow trailer. Just a curiosity, the vocalist for most of the songs in the series is Casey Lee Williams and she's the daughter of Jeff Williams who is the composer of RWBY's soundtrack. Casey was about 14 when RWBY started.
