Kamen Rider Zero One 1x40 "Toward Our Dream" reaction & review

Wow, I knew there must have been something going on in this ep, as soon as I saw every main character get killed within like 5 minutes!!! :O What a great and triumphant resolution we had - Izu IS There now, but that means she had to relive those horrible deaths over and over in order to find the winning outcome! When she couldn't understand that Aruto was dead, and actually cried, a part of me DIED INSIDE!!!!!! That being said, she made Aruto's dream her own, and together, the dreams of a human and Humagear have produced ZERO TWO!!!!!!!! What an amazing look and design, I love it! And it's so powerful, it knocked the Ark right out of Ikazuchi, dang!!
I'll try to take it easy on the Darling in the Franx jokes LOL! Great episode! Enjoy! ~ MH

2020-08-07 11:54:23 +0000 UTCI really confused when I watch this episode live. And I think the storytelling is a bit weird. Someone told me that the last episode (39) is also weird. Aruto is producing the new Zero-Two Rider, but why did he believe Raiden and go to face Ark-Zero and lost his driver? I think they really try to less down the detail as much as they can. From the first, Zero-One might have 49-50 episodes as Zi-O. But because the pandemic, they have to lessen down as much detail as they can. Well, there is a rumor that Zero-One still have very last final form other than Zero-Two like Oma Zi-O of Zi-O, but that still a rumor. Well time for the fact! The filming process of Zero-One has now finished! The actors of this series are complete their role in Zero-One already. We have 4 episode left before the final and then Kamen Rider Saber will begin. Quite a long year. Fun Fact: In Aruto notes, there were several concept names for Zero-Two, each being an homage to a previous Rider: - Kamen Rider Super Zero-One, referencing Kamen Rider Super-1. - Kamen Rider 0001, referencing ZeroZero-One. (and maybe Thouser 1000%?) - Kamen Rider Hyper-One, referencing the Hyper forms of Kamen Rider Kabuto and Kamen Rider Beast. - Kamen Rider NEW Zero-One, referencing Skyrider's original name as "NEW Kamen Rider" and Amazon NEW Omega. - Kamen Rider Strong-One, referencing Kamen Rider Stronger.

2020-08-07 10:05:32 +0000 UTCHuh. I just realized why Zero-Two's finisher is called "Zero-Two Big-Bang". Ark-Zero's finisher is called "All Extinction". It's the ultimate act of destruction, wiping out something until not a single trace of it remains. To contrast, Zero-Two's finisher references the Big Bang, the explosion that created the universe. It's the ultimate act of creation!

However, with the fact that most computers use binary logic (two possible values 0 and 1), if Aruto wants to beat Ark, he needs to create a ternary computer (with three possible values 0, 1, and either 2 or -1). With that extra digit, Zero-Two has everything that Ark has plus more. That's why he can negate Ark's prediction and come out with a solution that Ark can't understand

I love the Zero-Two suit, past final forms (I assume this is his final form) have been so bulky in recent years so it's great to get a more streamlined design. Also I love how the suit pays homage to Kamen Rider Nigo with the scarf and him being the second rider!
