i mean.. the very first episode is so so bad.. i couldnt even look a few times.. :D while watching it for the first time i was so disgusted.. i wasnt sure if i want to continue.. :/ :D but then it get a lot better and i hope for second season :D

I've learned a new term with this (isekai) and when I saw this the first time, I have no trouble with them traveling to a medieval fantasy world, what I had trouble with was that the world was working as a computer game but I managed to get used to it

IWAE!!!!!!!!!!! XD I can see why folks hated Myne so much, I was definitely surprised and really disappointed!!! I'm excited to see more, I think Naofumi is going to have a real journey, both literally and for his character. I've seen The Devil is a Part-Timer, such a fun series, I loved it!!!!! Thanks for the warning on how dark this series might get! And thanks for clearing that up about the girl at the end - I've seen the next ep now and I LOVE her!!!!!!!!!!

Ooh my senses were right again. After awhile i knew Myne was up to something😤. Does the slave owner guy remind anyone else of Eggman from Sonic? XD I enjoyed this first episode. :) A lot of twist & turns. I love adventures & drama.

REJOICE! Another anime series which it was once my favorite. Well, I'm not gonna say that it's not good for me right now. But I watch the entire series a long time ago and I think all the issues its build up in the series is now cleared. Unless there is a little bit point that may link to the next season that coming up soon (I don't know when). Iwatani Naofumi is the name of the Shield Hero, but I guess that might be too long and hard to memorize if you not used to the japanese name, but we might usually call him only Naofumi. (I usually called him Shield Guy when talking with my closed friends.) His character is some kind of the greatest favorite type of character for me. Well, people not treat me well? Then you just counter everything with everything you got with no mercy! Unless, his natural nature is still there. He's gonna be kind with who he trust only. The girl with red hair who trick Naofumi is Myne. As what I know, she is one of the character that the audience hate the most in several anime. Someone mentioned her really bad like the scum piece of s*** or garbage. Well, that's goes for Naofumi to, but not me. Wait! It's not like like her or something. But it's kinda like... "Seriously? you again?" when I watch the series. Also, there is a dramatically scenes await next few episodes. You might feel sorry for him to experience something like this. But you will find out that it's ok for him to face up with those issues. Well, I never get this series manga or novels, so I never know how it's gonna be after the story end. But it's like I'm not really hyped for the series that much right now. Right now I was so hyped up with the "Jojo's Bizarre Adventure" series, but it's a bit too dark for the entire series. Well 1000% more than Rising of the Shield Hero! Oh! Since I mentioned 1000%. I don't know why I don't seems to hate Myne that much, just really annoying her. It's different when compared to Gai from Zero-One's who I really hope he get beat up so much. The series gonna progress as a normal long episode from episode 2 'til the end. And its sure a great series which some day I want to come up with the post season 1 story. And if you think this series is a bit too dark and wanna try relax. When you finish this series, I recommend you to try looking for the anime which called "The Devil is a Part-Timer". This is my favorite! Unfortunately, it only has 1 season, so I have to spent my money on those novels. Which is just great! But for now, I'm looking for the great reaction as always. Now, keep my words, this series gonna be dark-fantasy. So, negative emotion build up await. You might know that from the very last part of this episode, but you will never know how dark it's gonna be... Oh! Also, the girl in the ending is the racoon girl!

So the other heroes played a game that was like this world, so thats why they know so much about it, also they think this is a game. Remember this, this is important. Many who whats the show forget about that fact. The country is a matriarchy so, the King is not really in the one in control normaly. And if the queen whould be dead, the Princess whould take the throne, or the prince if there is no princess. It finally payed of playing Crusader Kings 2 for hours. The show does a good job making you hate a character reaaal fast. Also dont jugde a book by its cover, Myne was sweet on the outside but rotten in the core. The manager at the end looks shady, but he sounds more earnest then he should be, thats what i think. Lets not forget the weapon shopkeeper, realizing the fake rumors and supporting the Shield Hero.

The first episode is the only one that is that long. Normal length for the rest. And yeah, it start really cheerfully even if a little ordinary. But NO, a little twist, and the tone change dramaticaly. And oh boy, this Myne is really despicable. The little demi human is a half-raccoon :3
