Nice! I had no idea it was that wierd. Did you know that BBN built the routers for the first internet? Seems like that worked out better than medicine.

2025-09-16 15:51:45 +0000 UTC[ Preface: All of that was written before watching the video; I'll be watching it once I get home this evening :) ] Holy shit, I spent 10 years working with M/MUMPS! No operator precedence, no real data types (everything is a coerced string), able to abbreviate all keywords to a single letter, and tons more fun. One of my favorite things to show people who haven't written M is that a quick and dirty REPL (very dirty, in that it doesn't print a newline after output) is "f r x x x" (note the semantic double space after the "f"). It's an infinite loop, "for read x xecute x". I'll wait for this to be "GA" on the channel, but I can't wait to send this link to a bunch of folks I used to work with around Madison, WI :)
