Summary... So Eren has 2 titan powers, one from his father and another one from frieda because Griesha ate Frieda before. But Eren can't use Frieda's titan (the founding titan) abilities like controlling mindless titans because he is not from the royal blood. If you're wondering why Eren can control the mindless titans in the last episode of season 2, you'll find the answer in the season 3 part 2

Awwww!!! I'm so glad my emotions enhanced your viewing experience!!! XD Right?? We've come such a long way from that whole concept of just us vs. Titans.....and that was the driving force that kept Eren going for so long. Yes, Historia was truly queen in this one (and she will be soon, quite literally lol)! I love the slow build they did over the course of the last season or two, with Ymir's influence on her - it's all coming together now! Aaaaand you did it again (or I did !). You getting emotional in that scene, made me more emotional about it, ahah. It is really a great moment, if I can say it like that, Eren touching rock-bottom, to the point of giving up. He is really far away, the Eren full of murderous intent toward Titans... We'll see how this goes... I love how Historia is doing a full 180 in the heat of the moment, with a great soundtrack to spice things up ! Thank you Ymir for the influence ! And Kenny, being the perfect agent of chaos here, love it. Thanks for the reaction !

YES!!!! So very true, who wouldn't just be grasping for any sense of family/normalcy in that situation....but it didn't take her long to choose her own path. Excellent point about Eren, too....he's very giving and unselfish in that moment, but it also shows how broken he is. I'm really liking Kenny! Just watched an episode that goes more into his character and I LOVED it! This season is really blowing me away, I agree that it's action-packed! Thank you so much, I'm happy to hear you loved my reaction!!!!!!! ^_^

One of my favourite episodes! Historia’s moment always stuck with me- the fact she’s finally cut off the ‘good girl’ act and just accepted that she’s starting to hate humanity since she’s seen so much of the worse side of it and that she’s stopped caring if people like or accept her anymore- even declaring herself ‘the worst girl who ever lived!’ She was so desperate for love at first that she was willing to go along with whatever her father said, but she soon snapped out of it and realised that he was just using her as a last resort. Eren’s moment always gets me too- feeling the overwhelming guilt for all the death he has seen. The fact he loses all of his fight and just wants it all to end shows how kind-hearted he is, but also how tragically devastated he’s become. Kenny is a badass. His story will be revealed in future and it made me fall in love with the character even more. For the meantime though, his fight with the Scouts this episode was awesome! Not a dull moment in the whole episode! Love your reaction, as always!

I am not sure if it's the translation, but maybe not. Rod Reiss says he must not become a Titan, implying that he shouldn't for whatever reason. But likely like they said in the episode he just manipulated others because he was scared to turn into a Titan and eat someone and become God. Notice how Kenny put that knife in Rod's mouth and cut him as blood was coming out.
