Hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!! So accurate, especially with my 2 am pizza snack!!!!! And I literally did start to piece it together way after the fact, that Eren must have eaten his dad!!!!!!!!!!!!! But since I wasn't totally sure, do prepare for a few silly theories in the next ep....as I wasn't totally sure.....hopefully it will just add to the fun of the reaction haha! Thank you :D

What a trip it is watching me doing these mental gymnastics huh? :P They really did throw a lot in here, and I have to be honest, I wouldn't have known they were trying to tell me Eren ate his dad unless you guys told me!!!!!!!! >.< I think it's because I didn't recognize the Titan that Eren turned into in that flashback....and since he doesn't appear to have the memory wiping power, I didn't think he had eaten his dad. I thought his dad wiped his mind with that power after the syringe incident. I do start to put it together a bit more over the next few eps....but also prepare yourself for a teency bit more confusion and some resulting silly theories :P I really appreciate you clearing it up!! I was so close to figuring it out there at the end wasn't I? Lol thank you for taking it all in stride!!!!!!!!!

I think what happened was I didn't recognize the Titan that Eren turned into in that flashback....and since he doesn't appear to have the memory wiping power, I didn't think he had eaten his dad. I thought his dad wiped his mind with that power after the syringe incident. But I do start to put it together over the next few eps, just please excuse my mentions of it and also a few crazy theories over the next few eps lol! >.< Sorry! It was awesome seeing Eren's mindless Titan!! Armin's speech did occur to me, I'm glad he said that cause it did get me thinking! Yes, very true that Eren's power doesn't match his meal LOL :P It sounds like a much more vivid scene in the manga!! Kenny's grandfather and the fake king are different folks, but without saying too much, if you watch the scene of the memories of Eren's dads a few times more, I think it'll be clear to you what happened.

I don't blame you for missing a lot of the info the show just threw at you this episode; this is one of those episodes were they just say "screw it!", and dump an entire dump truck load of exposition on you! The way the reveal of how Eren got his powers went over your head... I was cackling the entire time at the end, because you seemed like you started to get it but then lost it, multiple times! ("Oh, I get it!!" "Yes, Melissa, go on!" Eren's dad erased his memories!" "NO, MELISSA" 🤣 "Wait, did Eren eat his...?" "Yes, finally she connected it!" "Wait no, he'd then have this power instead of this one then, scratch that." "DANGIT, MELISSA!!!" 💀)

This episode.... Crazy right ? To complete Zephoss comment, Eren indeed ate Grisha, I don't think it was intended to be confusing (considering Hange' speech). But I completely understand that the amount of info can be overwhelming here :D When Rodd and Historia touched Eren, while Historia inadvertandly regain some lost memories, Eren regain his own. And more. He asked "whose memories are these ?". We can see the memories of "someone" who is with Eren while he is being transformed. Remember Hange speech about Pure/mindless titan and intelligent/shifter. We saw Eren transformed in a titan we don't know. It's Eren mindless titan ! This mindless titan rushed to eat the person these memories belong to (like any stupid titan would do). One of the last shot we saw is the face of the person he's going to eat reflected in Eren's titan eyes : Grisha. Remember Armin speech "who did Eren eat to gain his power ?". There you have it. Eren mindless' titan ate Grisha. In doing so, mindless Eren reverted to human form, with the power of the one he ate. But yeah, there is something strange as you said, Eren seems to have the Coordinate power, not a power to erase memorie... Hmmm. It was very clear (and a little more gruesome) in the manga. Eren took a good bite of Grisha. No ambiguity here. In the anime, we saw Grisha's arm on the grood, with a little censor (almost black at the edge of the picture), so we don't really see that it is just an arm, with no one at the other end. Also, the old man at the end, Kenny's grandfather, is just that. A grandfather of the Ackerman family, nothing more. As he told Kenny, he doesn't know all there is to know about his family problem. I hope I didn't make a mess with this comment, it is not always easy to translate on the go and not losing the sense of what I'm trying to say ^^' Anyway, great reaction, with a good dose of shocks ! And it is only the "beginning", mouhahah ! Thanks !

Kenny's grandfather and the fake king are two completely separate characters lol. They do look similar but the fake king was just some random old guy. The Kenny flashback took place probably over 15 years ago judging by how much younger Kenny looked in it, and his grandfather was pretty much about to bite the dust back then so yeah there's no way he survived another 15 more years. I think it might be like how you thought Frieda looked similar to Historia's mother lol

erm I think you missed the part where Eren ate his dad at the beginning. You'll notice that after the dad injects him it shows Eren as a dumb titan, then he eats his dad and inherits his power. The anime does make it kind of confusing with that mid-credit card, but the memory wipe thing is the same power as the titan control thing.

Great reaction but i think you missed that in the very beginning of the episode we see the memories of Grisha Jaeger, so we see Eren eat his dad and he has now his titan's power.
