Some mages can have children, Geralt’s mother is one of them. But yes, she is also a Druid (at least in the books) as well as a mage. The things in the woods were ghouls, though they aren’t undead. They’re corpse eaters. I don’t know if they ever settle whether or not Geralt was a child of destiny. Tales claim he was, Geralt claims he was not.

Yeah, that was Geralt’s mom. She’s one of the rare mages that could have children. In the book it’s a little ambiguous as to whether or not he hallucinates her, because he does get healed by a mage they find but he’s super out of it so it’s hard to say. One thing I think you missed, and it’s an easy thing to miss, when Vilgefortz (the mage who did the sword stuff) kills the guy with the mace, he was killing one of his allies, not a Nilfgaardian.

There is a season 2 in the works! It might be a little while though, as one of the actors tested positive for Corona unfortunately and they had to stop production a couple of months ago :( Still excited though!

The thing in ciris room where knuckle bones, part of the game she played in the beginning of the series with the other children. I dont know if they are actual bones of humans, elf or animals. In the forest with the other man, that was the camp where Ciri fled after meeting the Elf boy, where she met that family. Where the one dwarfed stabed the woman. What Geralt fights in the Woods might be Ghouls, which are a type of undead. But they could be Nekkers, a type of ogre like creature. It is never clarified. Demeritium is matter that disrupts and depletes magic. So its anti Mage powder. Or like i call it magic repellent. In one of the, flashbacks, or visions Geralt had, she levitated a apple in front of him. If she is his mothers, then she cant be a mage. As we know mages are well, made sterile. But we also know that there are not only mages. Moussack was a druid, could she be also a druid? Or are druids only males? Was Geralt a promise to the witcher? Like Ciri is to him, a law of surprise? He said he was waiting for him. Also in the woods the merchant said he could offer the law of surprise. If he would accept, well ciri is the new one in the family, so she would have been again been bound to Geralt. Destiny? Yennefer took all the flames and directed them in a direction, i guess amplified with chaos.
