Hey everyone! Here's my reaction and review of episode 7 of The Witcher! Okay so I'm pretty sure the point of this episode was: ALWAYS LISTEN TO GERALT!!!!! Calanthe's ego was so big it just about knocked me out of my chair! And I totally get not wanting to send a precious loved one away, but man.....she had one chance to get Ciri out of this unscathed and she blew it! Now poor Ciri is learning awful lessons about life, and struggling just trying to survive. Even her so-called friends were never really on her side! And now she's "activated"....whoa! Also, I found it interesting that Yennefer would try to get back with her ex! Seems like she's grasping at straws trying to find happiness....which side will she choose to fight for, if any?! Can't wait to see more! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

That was a good idea because the payoff here was really great! That's what I thought, there was a little scene where they intentionally didn't let us hear what she was saying, but the rest of the dialogue sounded familiar. What a great way to bring everything full circle!!!!

I don’t think you hear what the Queen whispers, but when the armsman comes back he totes says “He’s gone” (or something to that effect) before she tells Ciri to find Geralt.

2020-05-15 19:08:36 +0000 UTCGot it! Thanks for clarifying! Yeah, I can't see Geralt being too into that. I love that we saw the first episode scenes from a new perspective! That was so clever and brought the whole story together so well! Thanks :D

But as you can guess, Geralt does not seem like a person who would like to "own" a person. The Story i close to beeing just one timeline now, i liked that we saw part of the first episode again, but from different angles, and views.
