The soundtrack is awesome for sure! I know, I was super lucky to see season 2 the way I did! >.< I don't know how you guys did it back then, I would have gone crazy if I had to wait two or four years between seasons lol. Interesting about the tone in season 3! I can't wait to see it and check out the new opening! I hope you love my reactions!!!!!

Always loved watching attack on Titan one of my favorite parts was the ost especially when Eren activated the coordinate what they used in that moment I really liked listening to also again I kind of envy you since you got to watch all the season 2 right away and got to skip the 2-year hiatus and you're moving on to season 3 also something weird apparently season 3 was cut up into two parts I didn't know at the time cuz I binged the whole season but The first half from what I saw didn't really have to do with so much fighting so much to say had to uncover more and more secrets and the second part went back to what we were seeing in season 2 which was to fight another thing I enjoy season 3's opening the first one for season 3 it was a much more somber feeling than all the ones we got used to you know that we're all exciting or at least that's how I would put it I can't wait to see what you think about this season

Yay!!!! Welcome back! :D I can definitely see what Eren was going for there, as much as I would have liked for them to kiss lol. To him, it would have been a "kiss goodbye" I guess, so he chose to stand up and fight instead to protect Mikasa. I loved his cheesy little scarf line!!!!!!! :P Lol! I’m back here watching the reaction again 😅 A lot of people were angry with Eren this episode for not accepting the kiss when Mikasa leaned it but it’s meant to be symbolic. Mikasa thought it was the end so gave up on fighting and instead she confessed her feelings. If Eren had kissed her it would’ve meant he was also giving up and accepting they were going to die. But instead he got back on his feet and told her- albeit in a little awkward way (using the analogy of the scarf) that they’d keep going. Thank you for your reactions. Your genuine care and love for the things you watch is nice to see and reminds me of how I felt when I first watched these scenes. I have a list in my head of scenes I can’t wait for you to see 😊

Lol well I'm late to the party! I worked all day yesterday, so I only had the opportunity to watch your reaction last night. But first off, awesome end to the second season! So many things going on, so many questions answered, and plenty more questions needing answers. But beyond all the noteworthy moments- Hanne's sacrifice, Mikasa and Eren's moment, the reveal of Eren's powers, the truth about the Titans... My personal favorite had to be the end! I could see the goosebumps on you when the Beast Titan looked into your eyes and said "Not yet, eh?" Lol I cannot wait to see you get started on S3!

I can definitely see how they're be a different meaning! I've been shipping them a lot so it all hit me in that way instead lol but I could definitely see it as Mikasa seeing this as the end, and Eren proclaiming about the scarf because it's not the end. It really was incredibly desperate before we found out he was the coordinate!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy you liked my reaction! I can't wait for season 3, OMG!!!!!!!!

That's so awesome that you picked up on so much foreshadowing!!!!!!!! I think I got so caught up in the literal events that probably most of that foreshadowing went right over my head maybe!!!!!!! But now I can appreciate these eps in a whole new way once I know all the stuff that's coming in season 3! Can't wait to see it!

Aww haha thank you! I can see how it could definitely not be a "kissy" moment but more of a "last words" moment. The manga sounds beautifully done as well. I get why you'd be afraid for her in that scene!!!!!!! I'm so glad that's not what happened though, I'd be rioting in the streets lol! Daaannngg this VA for Eren is LEGIT!!!! He definitely did a great job on that scream. So true that Hannes' story really came full circle; he gave his life protecting the kids, and in the end he did help in taking down that same Titan too! But you’re also like my sister so relax.” LOL Also I noticed that since last episode and today’s you had just seemingly realized the GOAT Erwin was still alive, and didn’t notice he was the one who slashed bertholdt last Rp to get Eren open to get out of there. XD seemingly at least.

I think there's a different meaning to what Eren says to Mikasa. She's confessing to him because she thinks it's the end for both of them, and she won't get another chance to say it. So Eren telling her he'll wrap the scarf around her as many times as she wants is his way of saying it's not the end. When I watched this episode for the first time, I was so stressed out about how they'll all get out of the situation. Before Eren controlled the titans it all seemed so desperate. Great reaction as always, and OMG we're reaching season 3!!!

Now I can finally talk about this without feeling like I'd accidentally hint at future events. First time I watched these last few episodes (9-12), I really didn't like them. I personally think they crossed the line between good, heavy foreshadowing and just dangling answers in front of the viewer before laughing and snatching them away (Ymir's "who knows?" is a perfect example). It felt kind of insulting. It gets better the closer to the end it gets, but it still felt like it wasn't quite aimless and wasn't quite boring, but a combination of the two? I don't know if this is making sense. To those who know everything, like myself, yes with context I find these episodes to be more enjoyable, but still feel they delight a little too much in over-teasing the viewer. That said, the finale is great, and leaves you with a good tease that actually answers some questions at the same time. Furthermore, season 3, for a multitude of reasons, relieved me of these feelings and felt like... well, I won't get into it for obvious reasons. I'm glad you seem to unabashedly love this finale, rather than getting caught up in its foreshadowing like I did. Season 3 rules!

Ah, your reaction to Mikasa's "confession" is so precious, I love it ! It was also beautifull in the manga, but less hinting at a kiss I think. It is really an intense moment, with all the titans around. It kind of looked like the things she must absolutely say to Eren before she dies. The first time I saw this, I really feared for her. Kinda like when she almost gave up in season one, after Eren "death". Eren laughting/crying was really well done. If I recall correctly, the voice actor broke is voice on this scene, he really outperform himself ! And well, the title of the episode is Scream... And poor Hannes, he will never see the comeback of the good old days he wanted. But at least he got out fighting, keeping his promise, and maybe paying his debt (like he mentionned in the first episode, when he said he would save Carla and the kids). Is this Eren's dad ? Well, something like 95% of people watching this made this guess, yet again another mystery :p I'm really eager to see what you will think of season 3 ! I loved how a few episodes ago Reiner said something to the effect of "stop, screaming and carrying on won't save you" and the "scream" activated the coordinate and it did in fact save him. Eren couldn't turn because he JUST finished healing so his body was exhausted. Hahaha!!! It's finally here! LOL oh wow, I can definitely see how this was a more satisfying ending than season 1 and the long wait that followed it! Good point about Ymir being influenced by Bertholdt's speech last ep, and excellent point that everything was wrapped up so well here! RIP Hannes, you're forever in our hearts!!!!! :( It really does make sense that he'd go out this way though. Thank you so much for the info on the OVAs, I actually just watched Wall Sina Goodbye pts 1 and 2 and loved it! Your list outlined everything nicely and I'll make a note that the next OVA takes place in the middle of season 3 (although if you were to remind me which ep to watch it after, I would be so grateful!!!!)! Omg thank you for the link! I'd love to take a look back at all those hints sometime. I definitely always avoid anything AoT related, including YouTube! Right?!?! Thanks for clearing that up about Ymir! I can't remember if I could tell or not that she was fighting alongside the Scouts, but I knew she ended up on "our side" by the end of it. And yes, Ymir is truly a goddess amongst men and women!!!!! It's crazy to think what a great job they did with her character in such a short time! Great stuff!!!

Not ye - oh wait, yes it is - the season 2 finale! haha I don't actually remember how that joke started, I just saw someone saying it and was like "this could be a good goof". this finale embodies why I love this season so much, the way it wrapped up all the characters and dropped that Eren Coordinate bombshell, was definitely much more satisfying than season 1's "what's that, a Titan in the wall? ok see you in four years" lol. these past two episodes go together so well, I was just thinking that Bertolt's speech in the previous episode is probably what influenced Ymir to make her decision and leave Historia behind - she wanted to be selfish and just live with her, but she is a selfless person deep down. also RIP Hannes, in hindsight it was the only way he could go out, finally having the courage to fulfil his promise like a champ. I'm so ready for these OVAs and then S3 aha, I'm not sure if you've watched the OVA yet but reminder it's split into two parts, it's kind of confusing but there's three OVAs with the same "Lost Girls" name, but the first and second ones are the same one that can be watched before S3 (Goodbye Wall Sina) and the third one can be watched midway through S3 (Lost in the cruel world) since there was a break in between (should be detailed on that graphic I made). apart from that, great reaction, what a great finale. What an amazing ending to an awesome season. Eren's badass moment, Hannes's sacrifice, Mikasa's thanks, Historia's resolve, Ymir's goodbye, it's just so good! I know Ymir's motivations were a bit confusing at the end but basically, after Connie and Sasha put some sense into both her and Historia they started fighting ALONGSIDE the scouts, not against them. Even though she was really angry at Erwin for ruining her plans, she saved him from a titan chasing him at the beginning <3
