The Witcher 1x04 "of Banquets, Bastards and Burials" reaction & review

Hey everyone!  Here's my reaction and review of episode 4 of The Witcher! Well, there was a whole lot revealed in this one!!!!!  So we now know that the Geralt story takes place at least 13 or 14 years before Ciri's story.  We see what the queen/grandma used to be like, Ciri's mom and her abilities, Ciri's dad, and we find out a secret about Geralt and Ciri's connection....!!!!!  There were so many good, funny moments in this one that I loved.  There were also some really sad ones with Yennifer and the baby she was trying to protect!  Her future really surprised me!  I'm so loving this series - can't wait to see more!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Ohhhhhh that makes much more sense actually! Very interesting that that's how they get new Witchers!!!!!!!! :O

Yes I agree, aside from those two parts (super sad!!!) this one had a much more funny/lighthearted tone!!! It was a nice break in some of the darker/gorier stories we've seen, for sure! Thank you so much, I'm happy you enjoyed my reaction!!!!!!!!!! :D

About Geralt taking the law of surprise, I don’t think they ever bring it up in the show, but in the books Witchers HAVE to take the law of surprise, it’s how they get new Witchers.

Besides the ending with the devouring flesh and of course the baby scene 😒. This episode has been the most light hearted. It may just be me being a sucker for a love story, but it I needed it after so much gore. I can’t believe it’s only four episodes so far, so much has happened. Great reaction!

Thanks for all the info! I hadn't noticed that about the title screen, I'll need to start focusing on that, it's cool that they change it up for each episode! Very true that we've met a few characters like that in the Witcher world - people who seem okay but we learn they've had some shady pasts. I'm glad I got it right about the mage and Yennifer's original destination! Really excited to see more of this show! Hope you love my reactions!!!

A the Episode where the Word "Destiny" was used very very often. Yennifers stroy jumped ahead 30 years it seams, getting closer to Geralts. The Bard, Jaskier, really made Geralt, or rather the "White Wolf" famous. Pavetta is Ciris Mother, and the Father Yet another view at the World of the Witcher, where characters seem ok at first...but then its revealed that they did horrible things. The Witcher and Berserk are the reasons why i dont trust fictional characters in a darker setting. They all could be..well monsters. And yes, the Mage with the Nilfgardians we already know. And Yennefer was supposed to go to Nilfgard, yes. Did you notice that every episode has a different Symbol at the beginning, in this it was a Tree.
