The Witcher 1x03 "Betrayer Moon" reaction & review

Hey everyone!  Here's my reaction and review of episode 3 of The Witcher!  So the main premise of this story explored a very uncomfortable event lol but the story was really interesting and I really loved the design/sound of the Striga!  Yennifer just goes farther and farther down her dark path in this one....I couldn't even believe that was her at the end!
As fascinated as I am to see where her story is going, I'm also a little sad/scared about it!
Last but not least, I know my Ciri is not being called into a scary forest right now!!!!  So much going on....really loving this series!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

I agree that the biggest failing of this show is the audience doesn't know when things are happening, I don't know if its like this in the book but they should have indicated this some way in the show.

Imperial Mort

Geralts getting famous because of the Bard. The women with him in the beginning sang one of the songs, we have not heard yet. But the bard holds his word, he does spread the word of Geralt the “friendly” witcher. The audience that looked at Yennefer, where an illusion she created. That’s why the boy said the clapping at the end was a nice touch. As others have mentioned, the kids on the dance floor where the King with Geralt. Foltest is the King. So I hope you don’t find it too confusing. Many viewers didn’t like the series because they got confused when the 3 stories happened. It looks like Yennefers Story is before the ones we see with Geralt. Witchers have many different potions, Geralt trank one of them, they are deadly for normal Humans because they are very poisonous, that also why their eyes turn black. Also, did you notice Geralt, and the witcher in the beginning, have Cats Eyes. Lets them see better in the dark. Gerlat had to keep the monster out of her Sarcophagus until the Morning. The broach he found in his coin pouch, was the broach from Renfri. It was also the thing he wanted to give Foltest, if he would not survive. Fun fact: Henry Cavil is a gamer, he played the Witcher games, so he got inspired by the voice actor that did Geralt in the games. In the games, when during a dialog, the player doesnt choose a Line, or sometimes forwards the Sczene. Geralt voices a “hm..”. Henry Cavil liked that much, as we can see , he does it in the series too.

Oh was I on to something?! :O Thanks for reminding me! Hmmm....I had always assumed that Yennifer's story was happening in the same time period as Geralt's and Ciri's stories. But now I'm wondering!!!!!!!!!! Thanks :D

Melissa Moore

“Those look like the kids in the painting” And the boy’s name is Foltest too, don’t know if you caught that since they only said it once.
