Added 2020-04-15 12:08:48 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Here's my reaction and review of season 2, episode 8. And that fight was just starting to go well for Eren, dang it!!!!!!!! I shoulda known he'd just get eaten again, this boy is made of pizza! I loved watching Armin and Mikasa reflect on their time with Eren. So much has changed in the last two seasons, yet a lot of things have stayed the same - including the nature of their dynamic all together. I loved Hannes' encouraging words to them at the end! They've all been through so much! Here's hoping for a win really soon! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

In Ep5 it's clear her stomach is torn open, in Ep6 we see they've covered her with a scout cape as a blanket, but magically in Ep8 she has a full shirt that is not only untorn but magically blood free! :)

2020-04-15 13:15:47 +0000 UTCOhhhh okay! Thanks for clearing that up! I'm a few eps ahead now and they did mention they took Eren's maneuver gear. But they never mentioned the other guy's. It's good to know at least they weren't just snacking for the fun of it lol! Yeah, we needed a little break before they continued with the craziness, for sure! I'm so close to being done with the season now (I have 11 - 12 left to watch currently). Can't wait!!! Thanks for the info!

2020-04-15 12:54:48 +0000 UTCso the anime skipped the explanation that's in the manga, but basically Bert ate Ymir obviously to take her with them, but the reason he ate that other soldier was to take his maneuvering gear - remember Reiner and Bertolt were with that group who were being supervised in case any were Titans (ended up being right haha), so they weren't allowed to wear the gear. Bert took that guy's gear and Reiner took Eren's. maybe a useless detail, but I thought it was neat how it was thought out. can't wait for next week's episodes! this one was more calm and contemplative, but the rest of the season is pretty much nonstop mindblowing
