The Witcher 1x01 "The End's Beginning" reaction & review

Thanks for all the info! I honestly had no idea there were games and books until after I watched this episode haha. I'm so happy you're looking forward to me reacting to it! ^_^ Interesting that both sides were at fault, neither path was really "right". Good thinking about the subtitles, I wouldn't have known that English isn't your first language because your English is really good! But they do talk VERY quietly in this series sometimes haha and even as a native English speaker I had to keep adjusting my volume :P Interesting about The Hexer too!!!!! Thanks again for explaining so much!

I only played the 3 games, i never read the books, so the series was new for me because it plays before the games. But i know if some characters. So from that perspective i really like how they are displaying the story and characters. I can tell it will be fun to watch the series again with you reacting to it. We met Geralt of Riva, Witcher, as you could see in the town fight he can use some magic. And he does want to be a neutral partie, as he talked with his Horse, wich is named Roach, he was raised that way. But in this story we saw that parties tried to sway him to their side. Both sides look at the first glance in the "right" but as the story unfolds it becomes clear that both are at fault. Stregabor, the sourcerer, because he killed women because of a prophecy. And Renfry, the women, because she would have killed innocent as long a she could get her revenge, she even said it. But Renfry had some sort of power, was the sourcerer right? As he said, Geralt made a choice but he will never find out if it was the right one. Or does he? I dont remember if they said the name of the Princess, so i wont mention it. She is from Cintra, so lets call her the Princess from Cintra. Also, the word Destiny, will be used alot in this series. Because English is not my first language, i turned on the subtitles. Sometimes they do speak very quietly, so i did not understand them. Also it helped me with remembering names and names of places better. I dont know if that would be something that is for you, or if that could make some problems with recordings. PS: there was a polish real tv series called "The Hexer", that would be the first time The Witcher was a real live series. Hexer is also a german word, Hexe is a Witch.

Yay! Thanks! Glad you're watching along with me! I learned after the fact it was books/games, I had no idea! Oh dang, the trailers are amazing!!!!!! The game looks incredible, both story wise and also the actual look....I thought it was live action at first!!! I agree about Henry Cavill!!! Can't wait to see more! Thanks again :)

Nice first episode ! I've never watched the serie, so good place to start :D The witcher is a book, well several books, but what has really made this popular is the video game adaptation. Without it, I doubt the serie would have been made, it's a REALLY popular game. Funny thing, you can watch, if you want, a trailer for the third game.
