Attack on Titan 2x01 "Beast Titan" reaction & review

I don't even think the last opening is a spoiler. I watched all the openings and it didn't detract from my experience at all.

I don't get why people told you not to watch the opening. You watched the first 2 and were completely fine and this one doesn't really spoil anything. I was just a bit confused because I've never seen a single reactor skip this opening before.

Its always scary when people are willing to die for their cause, especially concerning about something as big as a wall containing a titan. Cant wait to see your reaction to the Sasha episode wednesday, since she is one of your favorites.

I'm the one who first brought this up, and you're missing something. I wont elaborate since pointing that out would be spoiling it here. But there definitely is something that will lessen the impact, hence watching after episode 7. If you have seen the show you can probably guess towards what I'm implying here but don't spoil it for her ofc.

I've watched that OP at 0.5 speed and can't find any spoiler in it other than "the beast titan exists!" which is evidently solved after episode 1. What the heck am I missing? Because unless you're going over that OP with a fine tooth comb AND specifically trying to spoil yourself by overanalyzing, you're not going to ruin any of the experience. I don't see any reason for her not to watch the OP starting from episode 2. This is NOTHING compared to S3's second OP, like come on guys. I also feel like the OP is on a bit of a ticking clock, because watching it for the first time at like, episode 7 would probably deflate a lot of its impact. At least I think so... Again, unless there's something monumentally obvious I'm missing.

Hello, new "patron" here, I'm glad I have started supporting you, it was a great reaction, and it is really fun to watch you theorize ;) Most of what I wanted to say has already been told by tom... oh well. It is nice that some unnamed faces (that most of us miss on first watch, because they are... nameless) get named ! Like Nanaba, or even the pastor. I guess I could add that you should be able to start looking at the opening starting from episode 7. I think someone already gave this starting point, but just in case, I approve :) About the ending, it is relatively safe to watch, because you won't be able to make anything out of it with what you currently know. It is just a bit of creepiness that might make sense only in the future. I hope that my english isn't too bad, and I'm looking forward to your next reaction. Thank you !

Lol I can tell!!! That ending theme took me by surprise at first but then made sense once I heard a bit more of it haha. Thanks for the heads up that there are no spoilers in the ending! Good to know about the payoff from Ilse's Notebook! You know what I noticed in the ep after this one?? There was a girl named Ymir!!!!!! Ohhhhh so this is what the rest of the kids were doing during the confrontation??? Okay! Thanks for clearing that up! Thanks for clearing that up about Nanaba too! And I really appreciate the words of encouragement about understanding everything! I feel bad when I miss something but it means a lot when folks like yourself are understanding and take the time to explain it! this is where this show gets WEIRD. love this season. and yes this ending is insanely creepy, i remember another reaction where someone said a similar thing to you after this episode "oh now cheerful music after showing a brutal death - nope nope this is not happy this is creepy" haha but that's why it's my favourite. yeah i doubt you'll be able to make out anything from the imagery of the ending so don't worry about spoilers. some other things, episode 3 is when watching isle's notebook starts to pay off (i would recommend rewatching the part just where the titan speaks if you can't remember the specifics). another thing is as you've noticed the beginning of this season jumps around with time a bit. as you could see reiner, connie sasha etc waiting around then having to leave on their horses due to seeing titans - this all happened *before* eren mikasa and armin were confronting annie since erwin didn't want the rest of the gang to know they knew about annie, in case any of them were working with her. so this is pretty much explaining what all those characters were doing while the battle with annie happened. the girl with the short hair you asked about we have seen before, her name is nanaba and she was seen briefly standing outside of the forest in the last season talking to christa when the titans were climbing up the tree. other than that you're doing a good job of understanding everything the first time, and i look forward to your crazy theories

Yay, thank you so much!!!!!! Omg, I know!!! I'll never know the pure frustration it must have been to wait 4 whole years for another season!!!!!!! And I'm very lucky that I don't have to wait week to week, for sure. I guess I'm glad in a way that I waited so long to start AoT because my viewing experience is totally different than fans who watched as the seasons were current!!!!!! >.<

Awesome video as always here's something I always thought for people who just started watching attack on Titan I think that for one they're lucky because they wouldn't have to wait a week to see what happens next they can see what happens next immediately another thing is you didn't have to wait so long to watch season 2 I remember when I first watched attack on Titan I kept wondering when season 2 was going to come out that didn't happen until 4 years later
