Kamen Rider Den-O 1x02 "Ride on Time" reaction & review
Added 2020-03-13 10:11:01 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Here's my reaction and review of episode 2 of Kamen Rider Den-O! My sweet boy just proved his sweetness even further in this ep! It was really hard for me to feel sorry for the bully at first, but it was pretty sweet to see his past altered (slightly!) so that he could spend time with his mom before she died. What a wonderful boy Ryotaro is to make sure that happened, despite everything that meanie put him through! We also got a bit more info about our Red Guy and the other folks on the DenLiner! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

2020-03-15 12:55:41 +0000 UTCHey everyone. I've been wanting to get into Kamen Rider for a bit now, and after messaging Melissa about it, she advised me to ask you guys about a good place to start. For reference, I watched a little of Kuuga, but couldn't really "get into it", despite really liking the protagonist. In stories, I prefer good drama and heavy storytelling ("heavy" as in serious, not the amount of it), but am also cool with just dumb, wacky fun, like the first half of JoJo's Part 4. Melissa actually kind of covered the bases in this case without even knowing my preferences, since she suggested Gaim for good drama/story, Double (W) for fun, while I got the impression from her description that Ex-Aid seems like it might be a good mix of the two. Does anyone else have their own recommendations? I honestly wanted to get into KR because Melissa seems to like it so much - I mean, she initially named herself after it haha. Would really like to get into it so I can start watching along with her in recent series. Thanks in advance!

That's so awesome that you had already heard the song, same here....big fan of the band who does the theme and I liked it way before I saw this show!!! Haha yes good talk for sure! ^_^

As for the red one is based on Oni (Japanese giant) and his personality reflects as the trope of Japanese delinquent in any form of media (thug-like, forceful, warmonger, fight first ask later, etc.). He also likes to announce his final move/attack (hissatsu) just like in any Manga/Anime. Also, as you may see from this ep Imagin can possess the host and grant them unnatural strength, some may even change the physical appearance and personality of the host too. That's why you noticed that Ryotarou got ripped when the red possessed him.
2020-03-13 14:31:51 +0000 UTCIt did described that "Ore Sanjou" mean "I've arrive" and "Ore Futatabi Sanjou" is mean "I've arrive again". Anyway, the red imagin they called Momotarou is going to be named in the next few episode. You will see it. Fun Fact: Momatarou is one of the folk tales in Japan. It's like a boy born from a peach who team up with his animal friends to defeat the oni (demon). You can see that Den-O Sword Form's Mask is theme after a Red Peach and the imagine is theme after the oni. That's how it's related.

2020-03-13 13:04:53 +0000 UTCOk this was a great episode I get the feeling everything is now established and how things are gonna work first off are we just going to ignore the fact that the Batman monster killed the lady no one even batted an eye I like how the story turned out he is pure for helping the bully I'm getting more invested in this series oh I looked it up but I'm pretty sure you might have looked it up yourself to see what it means but ore sanjou means I am here or I have arrived but ore sanjou sounds better also back before I even knew about Kamen rider I was just listening to random anime openings and this was in the list so now to find out that the theme for this series is one of my favorites to listen to who knew 😋👍 also aren't our talks nice 😂
