Star Trek Picard 1x07 "Nepenthe" reaction & review

It's truly everything I could have asked for when it comes to this cameo! I wish our friends hadn't gone through the heartbreak they did, but I think their friendship, perspective and help really made an impression on Picard and Soji. Also, HUGH nooooo!!! Just three eps left until our finale - can't wait to see what happens next! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

lol like i said tng began airing the year i was born and my mom and dad always watched and since these were the dark ages i had no tv of my own so i watched what they did.... i've seen every episode of twilight zone as well about 100 times. My dad liked tng while my mom liked voyager. I actually watched ds9 after voyager as neither of my parents watched that. I have heard of "trekkies" but only in passing. i remember a story where a trekkie was trying to teach his baby klingon.

I think you might be right that Picard will die at the end, I will freak out lol but they've definitely been building things in a way that it could happen. I wanna see the rest of the crew too!!! Maybe they'll at least get a mention at some point. I thought I remembered her doing the head tilt once before, but I might be thinking of Daaj? Yes, I started to remember that story once he said it!!! Such a great ep!! I did notice Riker said "Imzadi", I remember there being a book called that as well, that explored their relationship more?? I could be wrong about that, it was a looooong time ago I remember seeing it/hearing about it.

2020-03-07 21:53:43 +0000 UTCThere were quite a few nice callbacks to tng. Also can i say betazoids must be fertile WELL into old age? I was afraid Hugh was going to die. I have nothing to base this on but my feelings and Patrick Stewart's feelings but I honestly expect he will die at the end. Now we need to know where geordi, crusher, and wesley are. Wesley was with the traveler but was at riker and troi's wedding, Geordi was last seen in the future timeline as captain trying to stop future janeway going back in time and worf is klingon abassador and denounced the federation. The head tilt was cool but inconsistant as it's the first time she did it. and yea picard got in a bar fight with a naussican and got skewered in the back and Q gave him a second chance and picard chose to keep the fake heart even though he may have died. Also, did you notice riker call troi "imzadi" something he called her in tng. it translates to "beloved" in betazed.
