Just to let you know, Levi got hurt when trying to save Mikasa from the female Titan, so he can't use the 3d maneuver gear for now. It's the same reason when they were returning to the walls with the bodies that he took a look at his leg, because deep down he would want to just quickly deal with the titans chasing them and return with the dead back to the walls and their families.

Thank you so much, I'm happy you liked my perspective on Eren's view of Annie! It's a real shame that scene got cut from the anime, I will have to go read the links you sent because that would really help establish their connection a bit more, for sure! Also, I just edited the episode where Marco dies for YouTube and was legit kicking myself for not reading more into Annie's "goodbye" to Marco.............just about blew my mind when I rewatched it!!! I've seen some people before say that Eren's hesitancy to fight Annie is annoying and unearned but I'm really glad you picked up on the fact that Annie being the female titan entirely contradicts the ideals Eren has had up till this point. Eren has viewed the titans as something to direct all the anger and trauma from his mother's death at, since their inhuman monsters they're an easy target for his rage since they're natural enemies that need to be slaughtered. But Annie being the titan who slaughtered his comrades changes this. For the first time Eren is forced to look at his enemy not as a mindless monster but as an actual person. Not to mention someone he was close to, admired and considered a good person. Completely messing with his black and white sense of good and evil that he's had up to this point. Humans = good. Titans = bad. Is the simple but easy mindset Eren has been operating on this entire time because it makes it a lot easier to fight his enemy when he has nothing to worry about in terms of morality or motives, etc. But just like real life the world often isn't as simple and straight forward as you want it to be and you're gonna see as the show goes on this challenges Eren as a character more than anyone because it's gradually forcing him to move beyond his black and white worldview he's had up to this point as thing's get a lot more morally grey. Also just another thing there's a little scene from the training arc from the start of the series that got cut in the anime. It's set after that scene where Eren had just used Annie's kicking technique on Jean infront of everyone to take control of the situation. The next day Eren and Annie are training together and Eren asks Annie's opinion on how well he imitated her technique. She jokingly brushes him off saying he was not even close. But then when she thinks of her father teaching her and sees the interest Eren has in her techniques, she SMILES genuinely for like the very first time in the series and offers to teach Eren her technique. It's a cute little scene that established the connection Eren and Annie had since Eren did actually manage to get somewhat close to her, made her smile and Annie was the one who taught Eren how to fight. I think it's a shame it got cut, since in the anime they only interacted once and there was never any real sense of connection and friendship established between them so I can see why some anime watchers would be confused as to why Eren is so hesitant to believe the female titan is her and fight her. Loving these reactions, AoT is the 3rd best show I've watched. Also this show usually doesn't have after credits but there is one after next one, so make sure you don't miss that one. Btw have you decided on watching OVA's?

Btw i saw commercials for this on adult swim and i marathoned it in one go. I don't think mikasa was jealous, just trying to spur eren on. As i said right before eren got his head kicked off his eyes widened because he saw the stance the female titan took. I THINK there is an after credits in the last one so be sure to check.
