Kamen Rider Zi-O "Over Quartzer" Movie full reaction

Good point! That's interesting that a few of the events of the movie are mentioned on the show! Come to think of it, since they all pretty much end up back at Sougo's house as usual at the end, I guess there isn't a huge reason why it couldn't fit in with the show. The Quartzer thing definitely changes a lot of the backstory for Sougo, but I suppose it doesn't necessarily have to change the remaining eps of the series very much, depending on where it's all going!

Personally to me this movie can be woven into the series because it explains a few things, where the Ziku Driver came from because it's clearly made by the Quarterz since they show to have a supply of them, it explains where and how Sougo got the Drive Watch (later on in the series it's shown has him already having the Grand Zi-O Watch at full power which can only happen if he actually obtain the Drive Watch), it also explains why the Dai Mazine that were sent into the ground at the end of episode 16 were never mentioned again, because they come out of the ground and get used and destroyed in this movie. Yes it can be an alternate take to the series end but this movies ending doesn't change anything drastic since you can still pick up episode 44 and they do mention Go later own in the series so they must have meet him.

Ok! I can finally say this. The other riders you see in the show was all related to Heisei Era. The one in the cell was the parody of the first Kamen Rider in Showa era, so he's not a real Kamen Rider, but he's Kamen No-rider. Next, the Green Drive you saw is Kamen Rider Brain, transformed by Brain, the main villian of Kamen Rider Drive who is finally get his Rider form. Other in the order are Zangetsu Kachidoki, the sub character in Gaim's series who finally get his final form. Then the 5 colored riders are Kamen Sentai: Gorider, they are the sentai version Kamen Riders. Next is G, from the special episode between Decade and W, and the last is Kuuga form the manga of Kamen Rider Kuuga, he's the comic version, so he's black and white. All of them were presented in Heisei era, but didn't have their own Main TV series, so they did present as the sub characters. And the last scene where Zi-O performed "King Time Break: Heisei Rider Kick", the shield of Barlckx was damaged, and it's shown the word "Heisei" in japanese. The way he show that damaged shield to the viewer is representing when they announced the name of "Heisei Era" back in the past. So, it's a big mashup and aniversary to the end of Heisei Era.

PART 2: There were some special riders that you definitely did not recognize lol. Time to check all of them out (in order of appearance): - Kamen Rider Brain: he first debuted in Kamen Rider Drive Saga: Kamen Rider Brain which was a two part mini-series from 2019 and was promoted as the "Last Heisei Rider". It originally started as an April fool's joke from 2017. - Kamen Rider Zangetsu Kachidoki Arms: He first debuted in the stage play, Kamen Rider Zangetsu -Gaim Gaiden- back in 2019. His power up is almost identical to Kamen Rider Gaim Kachidoki Arms. -Kamen Sentai Goriders: these group of riders are themed after the first Kamen Rider, Kamen Rider Ichigou and the first Super Sentai, Himitsu Sentai Gorenger. They appeared in the movie Chou Super Hero Taisen back in 2017 as well as in the 3 part mini-series, Kamen Sentai Gorider, also in the same year. Kamen Rider G: this rider was very well a surprise to many. He debuted in the self titular TV special back in 2009 in celebration of TV Asahi's (the channel that airs Kamen Rider) 50th anniversary. It also doubled as promotion for Kamen Rider Decade. Kamen Rider Kuuga: this version of Kuuga is from the manga of the same name which debuted back in 2015. It's an adaptation and a re-imagining of Kamen Rider Kuuga and Kamen Rider Agito. •This cameo was outta nowhere. The guy who was in jail was Takeshi Kinashi. He's from a parody series called Kamen Norider back in 1988. It parodies the first Kamen Rider series. It wasn't made by Toei nor did they authorize it. Somehow they did register a trademark for it in 2013. In a way, he is kind of representing the Showa Riders in the movie.

Time for some fun facts PART 1: •Kamen Riders Barlckxs,Zonjis, and Zamonas are all themed after Riders that are from the Heisei Era but aren't classified as Heisei Riders. Barlckxs is themed after Black and Black RX. Zonjis is themed after Shin,ZO,and J. Zamonas is themed after the riders in Kamen Rider Amazons (not to be confused with the 1974 series Kamen Rider Amazon). •Black,Black RX,Shin,ZO,and J are classified as Showa Era Riders despite being produced in the Heisei Era since fans believe the Showa Era of riders truely died when the creator of Kamen Rider, Shotaro Ishinomori passed away back in 1998 which was 9 years after the Heisei Era began. •Kamen Rider Amazons despite being produced in Heisei Era is not considered part of the line up of Heisei Riders since it is kind of its own thing (especially considering that it's a much darker show).

Oh and before I forget it (I know this is off topic and a while back right now), there is another reason why Geiz Revive stopped bleeding, besides the statement that his body got used to it. Bleeding/taking damage when using Geiz Revive was meant to be symbolic for his conflict with Sougo. That's why when they became friends, the bleeding stopped.

I definitely got a bit confused in there at first, but once I decided to just accept it as an "elseworlds" or alternate universe kind of story, not necessarily one that needs to fit into the main plot of the show, I found what they did with the whole Quartzer thing to be a really novel idea.
