What happened in panel one...really happened. I was about to stop posting work after a guy from friggin facebook sent me a note saying I suck and I have no business posting my mediocre work. I am a member of an art group on Face Book...and this guy was one of the artists in the group...''Look at the other artists work'' he said ''can't you see that your work doesnt compare to ours? will you fucking stop posting your crap?'' I was real depressed that day after this note... My buddy was about to leave back for Georgia when I told her...''I'm fucking done. fuck this. I am tired of getting these notes...'' she gave me a big hug...then slapped me...''ASSHOLE! DONT QUIT! FUCK 'EM'' she said...then...she said...''sit down..and draw tonight. draw your favorite characters. draw until you're tired and ready for bed. then...if you want...quit.'' She left for Georgia. I did what she said...next day...I posted a new page on deviant art...face book...and the duck. ''FUCK 'em...dont like my work? why the fuck are you reading it? I'm posting. fuck it.'' I said to myself, as I uploaded my mediocre work. I called my dog and told her...she just laughed. I laughed too.''When you visit again I'm slapping you back'' I told her. "PUSSY! '' she said...''You should have slapped me back when I first slapped your punk ass. '' we laughed and laughed that day. Damn I miss my road dog.
