Added 2019-11-20 11:56:02 +0000 UTCHi! Here's my reaction and review of Demon Slayer season 1, episode 20! The follow-up to the incredible events of ep 19 did not disappoint! There was an opening scene that I was NOT expecting, some backstory on the Daughter, and some very interesting insights into how Shinobu (who I refer to as Butterfly Girl) operates!! Great ep! @dethrox I’m pretty sure the manga explains that some demons can and will lose the ability to eat humans I would call it a disease rather than a digestion problem lol

2019-11-21 17:37:04 +0000 UTCThank you so much for explaining this!!! I noticed that Rui was referred to as "Lower Moon 5" in one of the eps I watched this week, and was wondering what that meant. It's crazy to think he is the second weakest when it was next to impossible to take him out (until Giyu showed up lol). I have a much better understanding of the 12 now, thank you!!!!

And thanks for the info regarding my hypothesis....I remember them saying in the Temari/Arrow Demon eps that they were going to bring her back to Kibutsuji, but I wasn't sure if that was because they had some kind of history or just because he caught on that she can turn people into demons now. Great point that even those two demons who weren't even really in the Twelve were aware!!! Thanks so much for refreshing me a bit on that ep! :D

2019-11-21 13:25:26 +0000 UTCThe demon moons are very interesting (No spoilers) It’s not really about being close or who they are these demons in the twelve kisumu have been alive for decades and even centuries in some cases More humans a demon eats more powerful they get so demons like rui have eaten hundreds of demons Rui is Lower moon 5 so is the second weakest of the 12 kizuki Kyogi the former lower moon 6 weakest of all the 12 kizuki developed a strange disease in demons and couldn’t consume anymore humans so muzan gave him the boot because he couldn’t become any more stronger then he was which makes sense So theoretically demons who go higher in the ranks like upper moon 1 have probably eaten thousands of humans which is mind blowing lol Because the ranking system for the demons go Lower moons being the weakest with 6 being the weakest and 1 being the strongest of that group Going to Upper moons who are significantly stronger then the lower moons 6 being the weakest and 1 being the strongest

2019-11-20 20:58:58 +0000 UTCThoroughly enjoyable reaction as usual :) I just wanted to comment on your hypothesis about Tamayo being close to Kibutsuji (no spoilers obvi!) in an earlier episode the Temari demon heard Lady Tamayo's name and both her and the Eye demon reacted, saying something like "The Traitor" in reference to Tamayo and how they would also take her back to get extra brownie points. So I can't say whether she was close to Kibutsuji, but apparently close enough that even those two demons he had fooled into thinking they were in the twelve demon moons had been told he wanted Tamayo dead (or at least captured, since they can't kill her?). I guess you'd have to go back and watch that episode to get the full gist of their reaction though.
