Kamen Rider "Heisei Generations Forever" Movie full reaction & review

Here it is - the Heisei Generations Forever movie!!!  This was so much fun - it had a great plot, tons of nostalgia and drool-worthy shots of Kamen Rider toys, great cameos (including one from a series I haven't even seen, but I think the actors should still win an award for their performance), and even some W action!  Great stuff!  Enjoy!  ~  KRH

Ahhhh yes!!!! I think I had heard at the time that a Kiva actor was in Build, but then someone explained/confirmed and I found it even funnier!!!!!!!

Oh! One thing I missed, there is a scene where the [Yellow Rider from Build] was asked if he was Kazumin from Build or Otoya from Kiva? Because those 2 used the same actor! That's why its made he confused who is he.

Lol!!!

What a big spoiler for that poor kid, now he knows what the rider looks like in 20 years XD

Thanks for the info! I've seen Imagin in a few different Den-O cameos in other Rider movies, but haven't seen enough to be able to put together a lot about their background (which is probably a good thing since I plan on watching Den-O soon!). I had heard that the lead Den-O actor could almost never come back for cameos; I didn't realize he'd gotten so famous!!!! What's his name? I've probably seen him in other things too and didn't realize it. That's what happened to the actor who played Philip on Kamen Rider W; he became a huge celebrity after the show and now he can't come back for any cameos!!! It's all good though, I'm glad he's famous because he's amazing!!!!! ^_^

Imagin are the monster from Den-O series, most of them are bad guys, but their are also good guys imagin. As Futaros who seen in the show, trying to save Shingo. Also, the actor who play the human form of "Kamen Rider Den-O" is now very very famous! So, it's quite a shocking surprise when he's appear in the movie. Even some of the lead actors never noticing him (because the staffs keep it a secret).

It's really all a matter of opinion in the end! I think W is, generally speaking, well liked by the Kamen Rider fandom. Me on the other hand - I LOVE it! It's my fave, and that's a tough choice to make since there are so many KR series I love. I highly recommend at least giving some of it a watch to see what you think!! ^_^

is w really that good? cause now im considering watching

Sirghostfreak

Sure, I don't mind! I've seen Decade, W, OOO, Fourze, some of Wizard, Gaim, Drive, Ghost, Ex-Aid, and some of Build.

Melissa Moore

Hahah oh I'm sure I was tearing up!!!!! It was an epic moment!

Thanks for all the info!!! I had heard something along the lines of Ryotaro's appearance being very very rare/special, thanks for filling me in on the details! And that's very interesting about the distinction with Kuuga being/not being the first of the Heisei Era all at the same time - it's so interesting to me that the Rider eras follow the current events of Japan so closely when it comes to each one being associated with the current emperor. Thanks for taking the time to explain it all to me!!

Melissa Moore

also you looked like you were about to cry tears of joy after seeing all the rider kicks at once

Some fun notes: •Den-O's scene was very special since Ryotaro showed up. The actor for Ryotaro hasn't reprised his role in 10 years. He's one of Japan's high profile across so he's kinda expensive and very busy to get ahold of him. His appearance was kept secret. • According to the head producer, the movie is non-canon but similar events have happened in the TV timeline. • Kuuga is the first Heisei Era Rider but isn't necessarily the first Rider of the Heisei Era. You see, The Heisei Era began in 1989 when a new Japanese emperor was chosen since his father, the emperor of the Showa Era passed away. Black RX was the first Rider under the Heisei Era. Following RX were the movie riders, Shin,J,and ZO. However, Toei and the fanbase acknowledge that those four riders are part of the Showa Era Riders since the creator of Kamen Rider, Shotaro Ishinomori, passed away before Kuuga was in production this ending the Showa Era of Kamen Rider.
