There's a lot of establishing in this episode, but I'm really enjoying the characters so far! I love all the little Kamen Rider easter eggs throughout the episode! This is going to be a fun season!

2020-02-11 13:20:34 +0000 UTCIf you didn't notice, on the forehead of Zi-O was a Japanese words pronounced "Kamen". Also, Zi-O and Geiz eyes both a Japanese word pronounced "Raida" or "Rider" in english. And in the episode 2 where the riders perform their kick. The words under their foots pronounced "Kikku" or "Kick", so when their eyes are gleaming simultaneously with the word under their foot, it is the "Rider Kick" Oma Zi-O and Woz also have the word "Rider" and "Kick". They all spelled with Katakana Japanese, except Geiz that spelled with Hiragana Japanese instead.

That's awesome that you've done effects work though! I think it's great that you decided to watch even though it's something you haven't seen before and are not familiar with the genre!! I'm happy you tried it and watched along with me!!!! ^_^ If you decide to keep watching, I hope that maybe the overall story can get to a point where it pulls you in and the effects don't stand out as much and take you out of it!!!

2019-09-23 21:12:57 +0000 UTCWow. Just wow.. This is my first time watching one of these shows.. I definitely definitely would not be watching it if you weren't watching it. It is pretty painful to watch. Not an insult to the show, but I have done some very limited special effects work in my day and wooooowwwwww just woooowwww. I feel like I want to force someone to give them about 20 times the budget for effects. Like it isn't even about the fact that they're using practicals. I LOVE practicals. I think it's just that I see things in the compositing work that I could do myself better. It makes it very hard for me to suspend disbelief. I think for me the problem is I love practical effects so much I want them to be better :D Well, here's hoping I can get over myself and enjoy the series with you.
