Shadespear Mountains Update!

Apologies for the radio silence! The Shadespear Mountains point crawl is written and layout has started! It's going to be a race to the finish, but the digital version will be done by the end of the month! And physical versions will be sent to the printer then too. So Legend patrons can expect them in your mailboxes by mid October.

Sharing the in progress writing doesn't feel interesting enough for an update, but I want to be better about letting you all know how the adventures are coming along each month.

Typically I like to work on projects one step at a time. So outline start to finish. Then write start to finish. Layout, illustrations, etc. But I'm realizing it might be better to do some drawing and map making here and there while working on the writing. I know the format of the zine, so that shouldn't be too difficult to do next month and ongoing.

The map above is a later area of the point crawl. The Ravenwood Brigands are up to no good and it's up to the adventurers to find their hideout and get to the bottom of their banditry.

What else is going on?!

I just created a discord server! So if you are a patron and have discord connected to your account, it should add you automatically. I'm not 100% on how this all works, so if you have problems connecting, send me a message.

Really excited to chat with you all. I'll be sharing inspiration and more process stuff, and hopefully getting your opinions on how to make these adventures even better!

Also! This Friday, October 1st at 7pm Eastern, I'll be jumping on Youtube to do a livestream. I'll be going over the Shadespear Mountains adventure, talking about October's adventure, and answering questions. Hope to see you there!
