Weekly Update No.93 Wonderland Comes

Heya, Schrade here, Pretty happy today, Why, Well I finally have this heavy CYOA backlog off my chest. Well my main content in patreon is still Roulettes but this is a passion project that this year has been culminating. Heh, Its been a long time since I started, I learned lots, how to make complex effects, how to make overlapping effects, hell, I made crappy pixel arts when I started and now I have a semi successful pixel art commission side gig just by drawing for it. But Yea I also have an update for the Drone Plant, Not much to explain expansions as that's next week's topic but I have roulette news today too don't worry roulette fans~ Let's start with that then.

Meet The Drone Plant

Drone plant is going smoothly, A bit slow I admit because I spent all week on bunnies. Glad its over and I can focus on this project until the end of December, As oh boy I need to finish this before the whole Christmas food coma arrives. So far I have created a simple format. You are captured to be a drone with replacable body parts. I have this special gimmick where you can choose or roll to modify parts of your body with 3 different modifiers/gear. Your Eyes/Mouth/Chest/Hands/Feet/Crotch can be customized and that is the main loop. Lock in the parts you want and start the work day.

Once you have your drone body set. Time to work. There are tasks corresponding to different hours of the day, So 24 basically. You must choose a schedule to get at least 2-4 hours of work today or maybe meet a weekly quota. I wanted to have 7 days of the week kinda thing but that just led to 14 tasks, Which is a bit few. But I'll see what can be done, Maybe I can theme the expansions around that. I do like the 24 hour thing tho, Maybe you can only do those tasks in that specific hour, Might make it exciting, Tho.. Hard to schedule IRL eh. But lets see. I think the time focus and customization makes this Roulette interesting.

It's here. Aaaaaa 53 pages. 60 after the beta. It's darn 530mb in total and 2.6gb+ in project file. and even 300+ individual pixel art used. Aa im so happy. So this is a very BIG CYOA. Conclusion

Schrade's wallet is as abused as my rabbit schlong this month. AHAHAH. Well the usual holiday stuff ya know. Getting dragged to bazaars to sacrifice my money to the pagan god known as Santa. Jk. I bought gifts for the family. Though I wish I got gifts. I'm not a kid anymore I guess. Man, To be the one giving gifts instead of receiving hits hard. Waaaa I refuse the passage of time! 

Anyways. I worked hard to finish what I consider my passion project for bunny CYOA and I hope it does get received nicely. I have high hopes for it to be a game or something but I... Gotta admit I have a problem with programming, I kinda have a bachelors degree or something but to get that I formed anxiety just by looking at code. Aint that weird. I think I talked about it before so I wont retell the story, All I can say is, It sucks im a bit constrained with static stuff instead of making interactive stuff. It's like having a tribal tech tree while others are in the industrial revolution. Hope my spears of creativity can fight the guns of programming. For now.
