Weekly Update No.83 The Carnival's Kinks

Heya Schrade here, I have been workin on the carnival this week and its pretty much 80% done with only the 7 available endings left to be made. Since I was in a hurry last week I didnt really mention how to play it so I'mma do that today! For other news hmm, I suppose I have been also making a few roulette drafts as I have started making the halloween CYOA early. By the time september rolls out we'd have quite a few halloween special roulette ideas that will be polled hehe. More info the sooner halloween comes, anyway, Here's the news

The Carnival's Kinks

The carnival is a lighthearted roulette focused on visiting various carnivals around the world, working as the carnival's stagehand or assistant on the 6 different troupes. You must fully help the carnival as best as possible within a year to try and fit in with one. If you fail to acquaint yourself with 1 troupe then you'd be sent home. You must do a task of the same troupe 4 times to fully join them, Seems doable right~ Well you are not allowed to redo tasks, So better hope your rolls are good~

Due to space constrictions with the roulette, It's unfortunate for me to say that I cut the 6th option "Summer Carnival" as the roulette is too large space wise to fit one more storyline, I often do this in roulettes that kinda break graphic design, Sorry about that, kinda overshot there, I'll be make sure to add that in as a expansion. And the number 6 rolled would give you the wild card option of being able to choose what carnival to attend. As you cannot redo tasks you already finished in this roulette. A little experiment to try to keep things fresh.

The Carnival's Expansions

The carnivals expansion pack involves a storyline that didnt make the final cut, a poll loser and a VIP pack involving the big top. A storyline involving what the circus does when its not out on carnivals. It has 2 storylines with a day/night theme in the circus.

CYOA News: Halloween CYOA & Bunnygirl CYOA

For our CYOA segment, I am adapting last year's halloween roulette special into a CYOA. Some of my roulettes are destined to be converted into CYOAs and this is an experiment into creating a CYOA/RYOA hybrid, Which I just call a static rougelike. Its called Escape from the House of Horrors, but i legitimately love calling it escape from the house of horny. Its about escaping a mansion with a convoluted layout where monsters from 6 horror genres are brought to live with unknown means. You need to maintain your humanity and sanity to escape this foul mansion, Will you be able to escape or will RNG mess you up and make you do another run, Find out coming this early to late october. 

The bunnygirl wonderland CYOA series beta is up and running at what I intended to offer as a demo (Link is in last week's update), The final pages are currently being made with a september goal but since im working on the halloween CYOA at the same time, We'll have to see whos on first because I do want to finish the halloween CYOA well before... halloween AHAHAH. Let's just see how much your rabbit can work on as my main priority are roulettes after all.

Conclusion

Ahaha hard at work, We'll be  seeing the carnival roulette next week alongside the August VIP poll thats gonna pit the drone roulette with roulette studio, wonder how that would end up heh. Well i have lots of fun stuff planned. When carnival rolls out you'd see a special lewd clown art i drew and I think im having fun practicing my pixel art in my projects as well due to good reception of it. I'm happy with that and i'll try to add a bit more drawing stuff as new stuff comes out. Anyway.
