Weekly Update No. 16 The Town's Kinks

Heya Schrade here. It's been quite a weird week but i'm glad i'm past some terrible stuff. The Image for this week is still the map but i can say now that this is the final version of the map. Next week we'd be seeing some of the race and enemy previews.

First of all i'd like to show you the new "Trial" i made featuring the rewrite of the base 12 races playable for the quest. I'd probably update the faproulette version when ch.2 releases for a proper deployment of the new features as it might change. The Trial is just a small bit of ch.0 featuring the changes and fixes i have based off several suggestions on the existing characters.

New Enemy Type : Guard Type
Now that ch.0 is up to speed time to move on to ch.2. I will be introducing a new enemy type "Guard" with their own stack called Bounty Stacks. This stack will be exclusive to the Town and i plan to make it a bit complicated to further immerse you to the unfairness of the town. My plan is to give it a few more levels and to make the stack more accessible. Uhh think of it like the skyrim bounty i guess (No promises on that one) Anyways it's still a work in progress and i will still be including other appropriate enemy types that you might encounter within the town.

The Town's Goal

Your main goal in the town is to defeat the Boss named "The Baron" You must get the key and storm his castle to get the map to the demon lord's hideout. You might opt to get other keys to the other locked rooms to his treasury as The Town's Treasure pool is quite nice.

Reincarnation 2.0 / Goddess's Token

A new event tile i introduced last weekly update. Moved to the start of the chapter to give you a chance to try it out. You will be given a one time use key item [Goddess Token] at the start of this chapter. It is a special item to be used on the gold tiles throughout the land. Using the Goddess Token will allow you to get a new character/reincarnated into a new race without any issues or demerits. Of course it is still randomized through roulettes and you may reincarnate yourself as many times as you want as long as you get the Goddess's Token. Where do you get more of it? Treasure pools. So if you wanna be more powerful or change your attack methods then better loot those chests

Patreon Rewards for The Quest Ch.0

Unlike in the Forest which had an expansion i'd like to try an experimental side quest to other parts of the map. As you see there are paths to unseen parts of the maps. It's still a WIP but here are the temp names

Supporter Tier- The Town Side Quest: The Gardens
Super Supporter Tier- The Town Side Quest- The Castle Heights
VIP Supporter Tier- The Town Side Quest- The Castle Dungeon

Its still very early on and i have not made the map yet but these are extra locations to be featured via patreon rewards. As usual the VIP Supporter tier will feature the Boss of this side quest and there are many treasure tiles to get that sweet loot. I'll update you guys in future updates for this one and if you really wanna see the sneak peeks constantly i suggest hopping over to the discord from time to time.
