Tis officially spooky season and we are starting off with a fun one!! Omg this film was sooo gory and ridiculously entertaining! I can't handle the girl in the basement!! Agh!! What are your thoughts on this film!?

It was an exact replica of the book of the dead prop used in the movie, and they went the extra mile to make it really feel like spongy, dried human flesh. It was disgusting and it smelled awful, but what a conversation starter. Evil Dead II had its own book of the dead edition that had a pus-filled eyeball that screamed when you poked it. That was truly the height of the elaborate DVD packaging era.

2021-10-02 11:30:15 +0000 UTCLove you are doing the trilogy. ;-) A note for when you watch Evil Dead 2 (the best in my humble opinion). The first 10 odd minutes is sort of a rehash of the first film, and the new story picks up from when Ash gets attacked.
