yessss i'd love to have a classic movie selection! it needs to happen SOON

So when it comes to classic movies, a strategy I use to decide what to watch is to just pick a prominent (or at least one I like) actor or director, look up their body of work, and see what jumps out at me. Perhaps a movie I have always heard about, but never watched. Go through the big names. Alfred Hitchcock, Cary Grant, Natalie Wood, Bette Davis, John Ford, Orson Welles, John Wayne, Humphrey Bogart, Irene Dunn, Ingmar Bergman, the Barrymore Family, Errol Flynn, John Houston, Buster Keaton, The Marx Bros., people like that. Browse through the Oscar nominees for a particular year. If you see an actor in a small role you like, find them in the credits and see what THEY'VE done. A lot of these movies are not going to be great for reaction videos, but they are still great movies. Good thing you have your poll system to filter out the ones you want to see with us.

Of course you could watch the greatest sports movie ever made: Kingpin...

It's taking me longer than I thought it would to find a Jim Carrey movie that will make everyone have to go have a good cry in a hot shower. As soon as I find it, I'll let you know. xP

The Truman show is definitley on my list! :)

I'm droping aliens during the week, just a few more days.

God Damn. Guess I'll watch, but oof another week for Aliens...sigh

Man, this is a blast from the past. Just a great family comedy. Of all of Jim Carrey’s mid-late 90s movies, I’d say this one probably has the least amount of cringe in retrospect. Of course, movies that fared the worst are probably the Ace Ventura films. I laughed at the time, but looking back on them now…yikes. As far as Jim Carrey’s 90s output goes, if you haven’t seen it, I’d highly, highly recommend The Truman Show. It’s an absolute classic that’s actually way more relevant now that it was when it was released almost 25 years ago. I just rewatched it recently and it’s shocking how much of 21st century society was predicted by that movie.
