Hello, it's time for another update.
I have been planning and preparing to add Sgt. Clemets, Rowdy Reiko, and BBD to the game, but the facial weights turned out to be different for all of them, which resulted in the facial animations messing up.
Since I don't want to leave you empty-handed, Aisha came to the rescue. Her model was easy to port and the weights didn't have the same problem as the others.
I also had time to animate two short loops of submission moves, I hope you like them.
Animating finishing moves turned out to be too time-consuming. If I animate a finishing move for every character before releasing them, the wait between character releases will be too long. For this reason, I have decided to add the option to pick your character's finishing move, and start releasing more characters.
There was a suggestion from a patron that I liked. Adding quick time events(QTE) for the person who lost the round. I have put together a simple QTE, which requires the player to press space at the right time. Doing so will shorten the length of the submission move they are enduring, but failing will increase it by a very small amount(which is capped). Unfortunately, this feature will not be available in the next release, as it requires me to completely rework how I use timers in the multiplayer scene.
Expect the next version to be released in the beginning of March.
