On The Perils of Over-Ambitious-osity... AND I'VE LEARNED NOTHING!!!
Added 2021-11-17 02:03:50 +0000 UTCSorry for the lengthy bout of radio silence.
I always kind of intended this to be something that I could work on when I wasn't crazy busy with other things... so in that sense I guess it's working as intended?
However, in this case, I actually have been working on a lot of related stuff in the meantime:
- I have finished writing a full HTML5 3D game engine that can run smoothly in-browser, and I'm planning exactly what I want to do with it first.
- I have hugely upgraded my animation systems for faces, hair, lipsync, and voices.
- I've been experimenting with a number of different animation techniques.
...But, to be honest, the major timesink - which I've unfortunately had to shelve for now - was that I became pretty much literally obsessed with trying to make a much lighter-weight version of something like "AIDungeon", but trained on all my favourite transformation-themed stories. After approximately three months and 30 failed prototypes, I've had to accept that that might be a longer-term project (though if anyone has a couple high-level supercomputers they're not using, give me a call...)
So, basically, despite the particularly chewy taste of recent failure, I have a lot of completed small things and 90% completed large things, all of which should be appearing soon.
Thank you so much for your continuing support, and please keep in mind that even when I disappear I'm still working on insane and insane-ly overambitious projects.

Wow that AIDungeon Idea sounds amazing! Take all the time you need, I am certain it will be well worth it in the end!
