My takeaway on Nate's freakout... Yes, he's internalizing his anger at his father but also he's been traumatized by the tapes he's watched of his dad sexually dominating men over the years. It's also caused him to question his own sexuality, which is why he only dates women who are highly feminine (because it makes him feel more masculine). So I think, when his dad was holding him down, Nate got flashbacks to those videos he's watched, and his own sexuality struggles, and just completely lost it. Hence why he also yelled out that slur towards his father. As for Rue & Jules... I think Rue realized, when Jules was trying to get her on the train, that Jules didn't actually care about her. Think about it, Rue spent so much of this season making Jules her priority & trying to make sure she was safeโin a way Jules was her new addiction. I think in that moment at the train station she realized that Jules didn't view her as a priority in return. Otherwise, why would Jules be trying to convince her to run off without her medication? Why would she be trying to make Rue do something she's clearly not comfortable with? I was proud of Rue for realizing that and putting a boundary in place but, unfortunately, not being able to obsess over Jules anymore is what led to her returning to drugs again. I can't wait to see y'all react to season 2โtruly some of the best & most iconic Euphoria episodes are from season 2!

The pills she would take is for pain so if they ran out, the dad would be in pain but it wouldn't kill him. Surely rue has some guilt but I dont think it's because she thinks she killed her dad.
