2025-07-01 05:37:09 +0000 UTCI love that Sophie is clocking Ace's behavior!! At the end of the day, Ace's issue with Jeremiah/Huda is not the same issue that America had with Jeremiah/Huda. America didn't care about Jeremiah/Huda having a deep connection from day 1 or only being interested in each other. There are couples like this every single season of Love Island that get together day 1 and stay together throughout the show. And no, day 1 couples don't always win as Ace is trying to make it seem. America's issue was that we saw the red flags & toxic behavior, mainly from Huda's end. The issue with Ace is that he's been way too invested in Jeremiah & Huda's relationship since the beginning, even before America clocked that they were toxic. And even when the other Islanders started to clock how problematic their relationship was/Huda was, no one was as passionate about it as Ace was. And that's WEIRD. And to make it weirder, Ace always framed it as they need to explore/they're too locked in/Jeremiah is the problem/Jeremiah is the scammer/Huda lets people in too easily etc. vs. talking about Huda's behavior. He didn't care that they weren't a good match together, he only cared that they only liked each other which is WEIRD. Meanwhile, his bestie Taylor isn't exploring and is faking his feelings for Olandria, but Ace will ignore that because it doesn't fit his agenda against Jeremiah. His issue was always Jeremiah and I think he would've had the same issue even if Jeremiah had coupled up with someone other than Huda (who wasn't as toxic) in the beginning.

Anyone saying that she’s justified is just insane. You can go about explaining your feelings in a healthy manner instead of hurling slurs and spilling lies. People don’t know the weight of certain words until they’re on the receiving end of it, brushing red flags off like this is crazy to me. Ntm how controlling she has been, barring Jeremiah from speaking of his own problems in their rs to their bros and beating him down for it. Manipulative in the Taylor pancake situation. Putting women down behind their backs with Iris and Amaya. Why is Huda given so much grace just because she’s a girl that can’t control her feelings?? It’s honestly ridiculous. Imo Jeremiah was already sounding alarms of her behaviour in his head, but was always afraid to voice his POV because of how domineering she acts in all their conversations. Which is why he shut down and took an avoidant route during the firepit night, because he knew she was dead close to being explosive and his brain simply protected him by literally freezing up and not approaching. That’s just from a psychological standpoint of how I view it. This is not the first time he has shut down in their convos, he also showed signs prior. But he still took accountability for it, even though what he really needs in therapy lol. Overall I don’t see why Jeremiah is viewed as a villain in this situation, Huda refuses to self reflect and even question herself once if she’s in the wrong and it’s just bonkers to see people support this sort of psychotic behaviour chalking it up to “oh women”. That’s just giving us a bad rep and stereotype

2025-06-26 12:38:38 +0000 UTCy'all do understand that this show does A LOT of editing so they definitely edited it to make it look like Ace only hugged Iris and gave her breakfast that day when he also did give Chelley breakfast and attention that day, they just chose to edit it out to cause drama. Chelley definitely confirmed that when her and Ace went on Aftersun a few days ago and she mentioned how Ace makes her breakfast every single morning and plans cute dates and continues to make it special while in the villa, he's a huge romantic. They're definitely not showing everything and every conversation/moment and i hate that cuz its making Ace look like the villain. So before ya are so quick to judge, take that into consideration....... love ya reactions overall though.

I understand being upset, and I don’t love being this person, but if roles were reversed and Jeremiah was the one yelling at Huda or if he even only called her a b****, would he be given the chance for a redemption? Would ppl be saying his actions are because of her love bombing him…? (Genuinely wondering, @ those seeing where Huda is coming from). I don’t know Jeremiah nor can I read his mind to say he was scamming or love bombing (maybe he is/was, who knows) but I’ve been having trouble seeing how his behavior shown to us gives love bombing (which to me is different than moving fast). I’m really not getting why they’re putting soooo much emphasis on exploring - yes this environment allows for/encourages that, but is it by force??? It feels very believable, to me at least, that Jeremiah genuinely just falls fast and hasn’t been interested in anyone else (especially since, from what we see, none of the other girls look anything like Huda or act like her). But then has gotten to know her more and realized they have some things to work through. Same with Huda. Like there are countless times that I’m out and lucky to find even ONE person I consider my spec/type, let alone more than one - and if I do find someone, I may go from really interested/excited to zero in just one convo. And I personally think it’s very valid to decide that someone calling you a b**** is a HARD non-negotiable for you and a turnoff, no matter how much you liked them. I say all this as someone who does NOT fall fast or hard (I’m 29 and wouldn’t even say I’ve ever really been in love, despite getting to know a number of guys); but I can recognize that ppl are different. And I also say all this as someone who very much thinks Huda and Jeremiah’s dynamic is incompatible at best, toxic at worst so I’m not even rooting for them and haven’t been for a long while (not that they were ever really my ship). Just had to get that off my chest!

2025-06-24 00:21:07 +0000 UTCHuda's emotions are valid for three reasons only. 1. Jeremiah not checking up on her 2. Almost being sent home 3. Losing her couple with Jeremiah. Her feelings are completely valid in that aspect and I'm not taking that away from her one bit. HOWEVER, there is no valid excuse whatsoever for her behavior. And everyone keeps saying "She's 24" which is nowhere near an excuse. That is an age where you know what is and is not appropriate and in no way, shape, or form is okay. Telling Jeremiah "I acted the way I did was because of you" is 100% manipulative and not to mention, Jeremiah took accountability for not checking up on her. He even went as far to say "I'm going to ask you how you're doing but first I want to apologize". Mind you, Huda has not apologized for anything at all. I can understand her feelings but I refuse to understand her acctions. Not okay at all and I hate to be that person but if it was a man who was doing what Huda did, no one would be saying "I get it". Because that is pure verbal abuse.

My opinion, after huda told him she was a mom, it was like her insecurities began to show. then they had sex, which made her even more sensitive. i think her trust issues and insecurities showed, which push jeremiah away.

The only thing I don't like about Jeremiah is that u can tell he isn't confrontational. When the guys confronted him he backed down, when he heard Huda talking shit about him, he paced the door. And that's cool to not like drama but he needs to be honest and if he wants out get out. If he wants to still explore w Huda he needs to place boundaries. I feel bad for him though 😕
