As a person that deals with addiction personally and has lost people from addiction, Zendaya’s portrayal is really spot on. I know that for people who do not have experience with drugs/addiction it can be easy to look at it as “just stop.. don’t pick up with pills… etc” but addiction can feel overwhelming/outerworldly. I’m grateful that you guys are in the position to not know what that feels like, but please try not to judge these characters too much 🤎
